HOW MANY POST ARE THERE IN IBPS CLERK EXAM?

Hello,First to tell you in IBPS exams you can't find any vacancies.they are conducting entrance tests on behalf of 19 government sector banks.if you are qualified in this test then they will provide one score card to you.if any bank has given notification for recruitment, then they will call for all the qualified candidates in IBPS.then they will directly conduct GD/PI for all the conducts.if you are selected in this test then you can get job in that bank.here another advantage is you can apply for all the 19 sector banks with single exam.

To apply for IBPS PO exam you must be completed you graduation from recognized university with 50% of marks and 5% relaxation is given for SC and ST Candidates.

To apply for IBPS clerical cadre entrance test, then you should be a graduate with just pass mark or 60% of marks in 10+2 are required.

Already IBPS notification has given for clerical cadre exam and registration process is also finished. you have to wait for another notification of IBPS.In the month of January you can expect notification for PO cadre positions.

Hi, I jus want to knw all the banks are offering the jobs in their bank on the behalf of IBPS Exam pass. But they are calling different criteria while it should be same coz they are recruiting on belhalf od ibps. some bank are demanding 55% marks in grd and some are are 60%..As if sum1 has passed the exam and hv 54.50% markks in gradutaion so he or she cant apply????? while ibps exam passing crieteied is fullfilled and graduation is only difference for .5% marks.. Pl tell what they will take the interview????????

NO, you have to try again to get 160 marks out of 250 to get call for interview. around 2.67 lakh obc candidate have passed in cwe 2011,so poor chance to get a call... all the best...

Note :

Depending on your score in the Entrance Examination you are called for the further rounds.

Once you are Qualified in the examination, you are allotted a Score Card through which you are called for the Interview.

There are two types of exams conducted by BANKS and they are:

1)PROBATIONARY OFFICERS
2)CLERKS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICERS:

1)You must be a Graduate in any field from any recognized University.
2)Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
3)If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible for the exams.
4)You must have a basic knowledge of computers.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERKS:

1)You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

OR

2)You must have passed 12th class with 50% marks.

OR

3)You must have passed 10th class with 60% marks.

4)There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST category candidates.

5)Your age must be between 18 to 28 years.

There are a total of 19 public sectors participating if you wanted to go through IBPS.

There is also NEGATIVE MARKING for each wrong answer of 0.25 marks.
