Only 10 seats are reserved in Anna University Chennai under GATE score.
The cutoff is 530 last year.

It is better to write TANCET ( Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ) to enter Anna University for doing M Tech.

There are 60 seats in all.
14 reserved for SC/ST , 10 for MBC ,18 for OBC and rest for general category students.

Eligibility to TANCET is a bachelor's degree in engineering.
However GATE allows students who have done their PG in B.SC also to attempt the exam.

TANCET dates:
Availability of Application Forms: last week of March
Date of Entrance Examination: last week of May
