government has raise the seats for lateral entry...so must probably there may be 15-20 seats available in each college.depend upon the college first year student passed into 2nd year there may be the seats according to college itself(sometime)....do not worry....this one is for government engineering colleges...there are lots of semi government and private engineering colleges too...you will have lots of choice during your councelling for private college...make sure to choose good college..all the best...

Seats available for every branches including civil engineering is 10 to 20 percent. To get there seats you should write common entrance test. Depending upon rank you will get seat.

i am studying diploma third year i have only 76 percentage,i can b.e civil join the govt college,

10 to 20% means 6 to 15 seats are available for diploma holders through lateral entry
it will vary from college to college
these admissions are based on merit of entrance exam
so try to get good rank in entrance exam inorder to get good college

According to the latest rule of Lateral entry admissions there are 20% of the total seats available in the trade are reserved for the lateral entry candidates.If a trade have 100 seats then 20 seats are reserved for diploma candidates seeking admission through LEET.
