The availability of seats can be checked in particular department based on college. You will get all the information like number of department available in that college with current seat availability for all Reserved categories like OC, BC, OBC, MBC, SC and ST.

The procedure to check the seats availability in a college is:

1) You have to visit the official website of Anna University TNEA 2011 which is http://www.annauniv.edu/tnea2011/.

2) Just find the link called Counselling current seat vacancies(VOCATIONAL INITIAL INTAKE/Vacancy Position for Academic Candidates).

3) There you will see a list of options to check the seat availability. Check the college and seat availability based on Branch, College, College Code and District. Then press on “send” button equal to that specific drop down list.

4) You will get the list of available colleges, branches with number of seat availability based on communities (OC, BCM, BC, MBC, SCA, SC and ST) .

Anna university counselling is being conducted by the univesity every year for engineering admissions

they have alloted about 150000 seats under the government quota in over 500 engineering coleeges

across the state.
