Dear friend, medical courses are the toughest but have good scope in future.to pursue medical course first of all you must be biology student.

As you mentioned details regarding your stream so I would like to inform you to get admission in medical college marks does not matters most but your hard work and knowledge matters because for the eligibility for medical entrance exams you must gain minimum 50% marks, which is not a big target to achieve so marks less matters but knowledge mostly matters.
Sometimes some students who pass 12th with very good percentage get failed in medical entrance exams and sometime some students who scored less in 12th exam get admission in medical college so marks less matters but it does not mean that you score less marks in 12th, try to score maximum marks so that you can also get scholarship in during admission time.

more than 98% marks is required for general category

95% for OBC and

90% for SC/ST category

Dear friend,As you have mentioned you have PCB in class 12, that means you are eligible to study medical science. For getting admission in medical colleges you have to get a minimum of 50% marks in the board exams but the marks in board does not confirm your eligibility. You have to pass in the respective entrance exams to get admission through counselling based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam. For example to get admission to MBBS/BDS degree in India, you have to qualify in NEET exam to be held in the month of April 2013 conducted by CBSE. To qualify in the entrance exam is really tough and you have to work hard. A suggestion will be to read the NCERT books thoroughly.You can also apply for other branches of medical sciences such as homeopathy, ayurveda, veterinary, physiotherapy, para medical courses etc.So best of luck.

the minimum eligibility for you to sit in medical entrance exam is that you must have PCB in your 12th board exam and must have secured at least 60% in PCB and in all the subjects in aggregate....then you have to apply for the entrance exams like that of AIPMT.JIPMER,AFMC,AIIMS.....but this time government has decided to conduct a common entrance exam.....called NEET so you should prepare for it...you can join any coaching institute like that of AAKASH INSTITUTE it will help you prepare your entrance exams in a better way....
