for writing IIT JEE, you must have qualified your Intermediate academics in the first attempt with minumum of 60% i.e for OBC candidates.
for SC or ST candidates it can be 55%.
and the age criteria is, for example you are writing IIT 2013, then you should not have born before 1983,
The remaining all depends on the marks you have got in IIT JEE entrance exam.

    Hi aspirant,
There is no such qualification required to be eligible for applying IIT-JEE.
From now on 10th board has been withdrawn.
The only board exam you have to pass is 10+2 exam.
This is the only board exam that will determine your eligibility for IIT-JEE.
To be eligible for IIT-JEE you have to pass your 12th board exam with a minimum of 60% marks.
And you must acquire 55% in aggregation of Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
