Indian Police Services:
This IPS selections are one of the civil services in India which are conducted by the UPSC board and these civil services are conducted based on some of the qualifications which are necessary for getting in to these civil services there are a series of selection procedures which you need to follow in order to get in to these civil services.

These civil services are conducted once in every year and getting in to these services is not an easy task and it needs tough preparation and study for getting in to these civil services and these civil services are tough competitive examinations when compared to other government related competitive examinations.
These civil services are one of the central government services which are conducted for the candidates who had completed the graduation and these civil services are prestigious services as the power of the government is the civil services and you can control the government through these civil services and the selections are not any easy task and you need to clear a series of rounds for getting in to these services.....

For SC/ST your have 5 years of Age relaxation.

IPS or Indian Police Service exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission,

The examination comprises of two stages-

1. The Preliminary Examination consisting of multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.

2.The Main Examination consisting of a written exam and an interview.


Eligiblity criteria -

The candidate must be a degree holder of any discipline from a recognized university.

The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the examination.


Physical qualification for IPS :-

Height: The male candidate should be 165cm and female candidate should be 150cm for general category candidates.

In the case of candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC the height required is 160cm for male and 145cm for female.

Chest: Minimum requirement in the case of male candidates is 84cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.

In the case of female candidates the minimum requirement is 79cm and they should be able to expand the chest for 5cm.

Eye sight: 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for worse eye and 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. Near vision for worse eye is J2 and for good eye is J1.


AGE Criteria :-

Minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 in the case of candidates coming under general category,

and 33 for OBC candidates and 35 for candidates coming under SC/ST category.


Number Of Attempts -

4 for general category.

7 for OBC

No limit for SC/ ST till the age of 35 years.

ips means indian police service ,if you want to do ips you can write upsc (union public sevice commission),this is conducted nationallly,in this fisrt phase is preliminary examinations ,if u passed preliminary you will be qualify for mains exams and then finally interview.the qualification to attempt upsc is following : your age is between 21-30 years and you must passed any graduation or degree .you can attempt 4 times only ips exams ,for sc,st 5 times can attempt .

in preliminary you have two papers 1)general studies-1
2)general studies -2

after that in mains there is compulsory subjects and optionals is there

IPS or Indian Police Services is a post , to get this post you have to appear in UPSC Civil Services examination.

UPSC conducts Civil services exam for IAS, IPS IFS posts. Theses all are Government services .

You have to appear in CSAT or Civil Services Apititude Test. This exam consist:

Preliminary exam
SSB interview
Mains exam

To appear in IPS you have following ellowing elligibity:

Candidates must have graduation degree in any stream from recognized University.

Candidates minimum age should be 21 and maximum 30 years.
Age relaxation is given to OBC that is 3 years and CS Or ST 5 years.

Candidate must have citizenship of India.

Candidates must have physically fit.

You have to do hard work for this , because Civil Service is tough and long one year exam.

Through CPT

Qualification for CPT ;
You must have +2 (or) are equivalent to +2 course with any stream.
And no percentage is required for this course.
And no age limit also required

Through the graduation ;

For this you must have degree eligibility ;

As per the new rules of ICAI you can join in IPCC with the following qualification ;
If you belongs to commers background must have at least 55%.
And in case of Other graduations are must have at least60%.
If you have any above qualification you can join in IPCC course.

You must qualifing this IPCC both groups otherwise not eligible for forthere coursrs.

After this course you are eligible for CA final course
And you must qualifing this exam then only you will be a CA.
