Well there is not a fixed number of students who seats in the LLB entrance exam moreover there are many colleges and each colleges have their own entrance exam .So to keep an idea of how many students are appearing for the exam is impossible But i can suggest you some entrance exams which you can take to get admission in the 5 year law colleges.

The eligibility criteria for these colleges are ::

You must have done your class12th from a recognized board
You should be less then 20 years in many colleges .

first of all you should specify which LLB exam you are talking about.since each state conduct there separate LLB exam.
Well there approx 1lakh to 1.5 lakh student appear each year.

Eligibility Criteria for LLB exams.

A Candidate who have cleared 10+2 with 50% marks or its equivalent and those who are now in 10+2 can also apply for the LLB courses.A relaxation of 5% is given to reserved categories.

The age limit should not exceed 20 years for candidates coming under general category and 22 years for reserved category before July of that year

Candidates should submit a copy of their passed certificate as a proof by October 1st of the following year of CLAT. Those who have not passed will not be given admission.

The total number of candidates who appeared for the exam are:
739 (Male-662, Female-77) total number of candidates had appeared the LLB Exams.

My dear friend you haven't mention about which LLB exam you are talking about .
So i can not provide any specific information regarding the LLB exam .
But i know one thing about LLB that is every year near about 1.6 lakhs aspirants
appears for the exam .No matters how many candidate have applied for the exam
matters is that how capable you are for the exam .Whether you have capability to
crack the exam or not .So my dear friend don't worry about the people you just
concentrate towards your studies .Here i am giving the eligibility criteria for the eaxm :-

LLB course which is actually 3 years law course which is a bachelors course of law for which all the graduates from different streams are eligible to get admissions.

So by this you are also eligible after completing you B.Tech and also MBA.

there are various entry schemes for this course.

In the course of LLB(Bachelors of Law) the students will get trained under different categories for example like about Indian Penal Code and other law aspects .

At the end of this law course they will be given a chance to select the stream or specialization like Civil or Crime or Law and order .

According to their choice they will be given a certificate to practice law.

They can do practice individually or under a senior lawyer.
