The total number of candidates who appeared for the ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAM is nearly
12 lakhs and from delhi NCR region it was about 3 lakhs.

In 2011,close to 10,000 students from delhi NCR region state appeared for AIEEE examination.There is a clear idea that close to 25,000 engineering aspirants are there in delhi NCR region.

In AIEEE 2011 total number of candidates appeared were more than 8 lakhs. Out of them more than 25 thousands students were from delhi only. The total number of students appeared from NCR region which includes Delhi, Gurgaon, Gaziabad, Noida, Greater noida are around 50,000. This figure is only an approximate figure.
