    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

    There is no specific attempts for NET Exam .So you can try for maximum times.

    NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

    From this year NET exam pattern should be change and the pattern may be this type.

    For Paper I-

    It's has 60 Question.Out of 60 Question , you can answered 50 Question.Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1 Hours (09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.)

    For Paper II-

    It has 50 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1 Hours (10.45 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.)

    For Paper III-

    It has 75 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 150 marks.The time duration for this session is 2 Hours (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.)

    Hi friend,there is no limit to attend the NET exam i.e.,you can attempt any number of times...The National Eligibility Test is conducated by UGC twice in a year...The candidates who have master degree are eligible to apply for NET exam...To attend the exam the general category candidates(oc and also obc candidates) should have first class master degree and sc,st candidates should have 50% in master degree...all the best...

    [B]NET stands for NAtional eligibility Test.UGC every year two times in the month of JUNE and December conducts the examination of Net.

    The candidates those who have opt 55% marks in PG from a recognized university are eligible for this examination.

    Less than 55% are not eligible for appearing in NET exam.

    The exam is conducted for two post:

    Juninor Research Fellowship

    Lectruership.

    age limit:

    For JRF 28 years is maximum age more than 28 years are not eligible for JRF post to apply.

    For Lectruership no upper age is specified.

    dear you can write this exam until your age perm,
    this test is conducted twice in A year in the month of
    • JUNE,
    • AND DECEMBER.
    If you have a desire to pursue research than JRF (junior research fellowship) is also available for teh five years subject to fulfillment of certain conditions.
    The JRFs are awarded to you if you are merit student among the qualifying students for eligibility for lectureship in the NET.
    posts are like
    • lectureship NET: for appointment as lecturers,
    • JRF(junior research fellowship) NET: for appointment as lecturers and also to receive fellowships from UGC.
    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION TO GET ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EXAM
    *if you have secured at least 55% of marks and 50% of marks in SC,sT,PH,VH. in masters degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC humanities including languages and social sciences,
    computer science and applications,
    electronic science etc..
    are going to eligible .

    * if you are in the final year of your study than also you are eligible for this programme. But you have to complete your PG degree examination with in two years from the date of the NET exam with required percentage or else you will be disqualified.
    *if you are a PHD degree holder and if your masters level exam was completed by 19 September,1991 than you are eligible with 50% of marks with 5% of relaxation in marks. i.e from 55% to 50% of marks to get eligible.
    age limit
    lectureship NET:
    you must have 19 years to get eligible and there is no upper age limit.
    JRF(junior research fellowship) NET:
    you must have 19 years and maximum to 28 years to get eligible.

    paper-2 carries 100 marks and you have to get

    how to apply
    you can apply by downloading teh bank challen from in triplicate (bank copy,
    ugc copy,
    and candidates copy from the UGC website than you have to deposit the test fees in branch of state bank of india with bank charges rs.20.

    application fees cost
    • if you are belong to the general candidate than you have to pay rs.450.
    • if you are belong to the OBC CANDIDATE than you have to pay rs.225
    • if you are belong to the PH/VH/SC/ST CANDIDATE than you have to pay rs.110
