This is quite a noble profession. You are eligible to join the army provided you fulfill certain criteria's. You need to have atleast 50% in Graduation. To consider the NCC c certificate it is a must that the candidate should have completed at least 2 years of service in the senior Division of NCC. Also they should not be over 25 years of age. You will need to clear the SSC exam. There after there will be an interview round. Also it is important to be physically fit as you need to clear the fitness test too. You can be on the lookout for notification regarding the same.

u can apply for OTA ncc special entry and u can also apply for CDS u get directly SSB without written exam but u should have 50% marks in graduation in any stream. after selection u directly become an officer.

1.) Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
2.) 10+2 pass students with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70%.
3.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.
4.) Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with chest expansion of 5 cm.

You can join Indian Army after completing B.Tech and with NCC C certificate easily because your NCC certificate perform lubricant to enter into army.

Army offers you job after Graduation also based on Engineering degree.There are entries like University scheme,Technical Graduate entry ...through which you can enter into Army..or else you can try through CDS ,here you will have to clear a written exam ,followed by SSB.Here you have got one advantage of NCC certificate that will count alot during ssb,You people have special entry in the Indian Army (those having NCC certificate ),Opening comes in the month of Jan and June.See the army official website www.indianarmy.ac.in

Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division of NCC (iii) Grading : Should have minimum of 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.
Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.
