hai friend,
you can start the prepration for CA now itself.If you want to become a CA after 12th then first of all you have to apply for the CPT( Common Proficiency Test) which is organised by ICAI as a Foundation course. This test consists of objective type questions and consists of 4 subjects.
After passing that stage then you will have to apply for the IPCC(Integrated Professional Competency Course).In that stage there are 7 subjects divided in 2 groups.
After passing that stage then you will have to go for compulsory training for 3 years under practicing CA and then after you will be eligible for the Final exam of CA course.

If you want to become a Get Admission In CA After +2 then you should have to register in CPT Examination(forms comes in April month).

After that you will register for IPCC(integrated professional competence course)
After completion of 9 months of registration you will eligible to write IPCC.
After completion of group-1 or both groups you should done 3 years of articles ...

simultaneously you will study final cousre..after 2 1|2 yrs articles that you will eligible for appearing final exam.

here I will suggest you for the Examination pattern.

>>> PROCESS TO BECOME CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT AFTER 12TH :

1. CPT - COMMON PROFICIENCY TEST :

a) Exam for 200 marks.

b) Total 4 subjects will be there. From each subject 50 marks will come.

c) Pass marks is 100.

d) Duration for this exam is 6 months.

2. IPCC :

a) Duration of course is 9 months.

b) TWO groups.

c) One group consists of 4 subjects and another group consists of 3 subjects.

d) Each subject for 100 marks.

e) Person should secure minimum 40% marks in each subject.

3. THIRD STAGE IS CA FINAL ;

a) Duration of course is 2 years 6 months.

Those who qualified in this exam they will get the CA final degree certificate.

*** Persons those who completed the degree in commerce they can omit the CPT EXAM & They can directly join in the IPCC course.

Yes you can do CA If Your marks are eligible plzz check in eligibility criteria.




Eligibility :- non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with
an aggregate of 55% marks and

non-commerce graduates with Maths with an
aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Competency Professional Test
and are permitted to register for Professional Competency Course....

How to join

C.A. course is conducted by ICAI.

The C.A. course is divided into three levels.

The first one is CPT for which one can register after 12th.

After 12th you can apply for the CPT (Competence Proficiency Test).

You can join ENGG or BSC after completing 12th in science

if you are not interested to give CPT then you can do graduation then you can also take direct admission in CA course.

you have to clear graduation.

As you have completed your 12th you are eligible to apply for CA Course.

To apply for CA course you need yo have completed your 12th.

There is No age criteria so you can apply at any Age .

There is also no Percentage criteria for CPT.

CA course has 2 stages :-

It is possible to join for CA after 12th class science. One can start from CA CPT after 12th class which will be the foundation level involved in this course. CPT will test candidate’s knowledge in basic subject’s namely general economics, mercantile laws, accounting, quantitative aptitude etc. In order to apply for the same, you need to download the registration form from ICAI site. Candidates who are able to clear CPT will be eligible for IPCC which evaluates knowledge in subjects like financial accounting, business laws, cost accounting, and business communication etc. Article ship training and IT training also form part of IPCC. You can join Charted accountancy course after you compleate your 12 th standard.
The entrance to charted accountancy course is through a entrance test which is
known as Common proficiency test(CPT).

The Common proficiency test(CPT) is conducted by the Institute of Charted accountants
of India(ICAI). The examination is held twice a year in the months of June and December.
You need to take this exam in order to become a Charted accountant.

The eligibility for appearing Common proficiency test is that you must have passed
your 12th standard board or equivalent exmination in any stream . You can appear
in the examination in the year when you appearing for the qualifying exam.


CPT is objective styled test in which negative marking is done for wrong assumptions.
The test will test your knowledge in four sections which are as follows :-

General Economics
Accounting
Mercantile Laws,
Quantitative Aptitude.

The above four subjects will be divided in two sessions of two hour each. The test
is of 200 marks. You need to secure the minimum cut off which is around 100 marks,
in order to qualify this exam.

Within a time duration of 9 months from clearing the CPT you will be eligible for
appearing in the next examination which is the Integrated Professional Competence
Course (IPCC). After compleating the IPCC exam you can take internship after which
you can appear in the final exams.

CA is well known and very dynamic course.Definitely you can do this course.Basically for the CA course you have to complete the following three stages:
