This is the right time to take a decision on the career you would like to make. First of all you need to take a look on the areas of interests. It will vary from person to person. You would be having a liking to some subjects. Based on that you need to see the options available. Like if you have interest in science subjects then you have options like medicine, nursing, B.Sc etc. If you like both science and mathematics then you can choose to go in for engineering, BCA etc. You also have options like commerce, arts, home science etc. You can go in for creative courses like interior designing, jewelery designing etc. If you choose to go in for an area where your strengths lay you will not only have job satisfaction but also there will be career growth too.

This question is a common among the 10th pass out. This is a point where you have to take the first step towards your future/career. You can go for plus two, which is the best option for you in further studies. Students who are interested in the Medical and Engineering field can choose the Science stream. Also who are interested in having a career in the science related field also chose science stream. Choosing science will also help you to have career in NDA. This is technological world and people who are interested in computer can choose computer science for plus two which have a wide opportunity in future. Going for commerce and arts subjects is also a good option for the interested students. The commerce students have a bright future ahead in Management and other related field. There are some Vocational and diploma courses for the 10th pass out. You can also search the information regarding these courses. But only select that subject in which you are truly talented or interested.

After 10th ,abhi sirf 12th ki taraf dhyan do.As a student of senior secondary can get much better career instead of a secondary one.But if you are facing some financial problem then it is advisable to you to get some professional diploma course in that field in which your interest lies & then apply for the job.

as a higher study prospect, you should go for 10+2 class, either in science, commerce or arts as per your interest. if you take up science ,with physics, chemistry and maths, you can appear for PET, AIEEE or IIT to pursue Bachelors in Engineering in any desired field, after which you can do your post graduation as a Master Of Business Administration (MBA) and if you have taken physics, chemistry and biology, you can appear for PMT and take up MBBS, BAMS, BHMS or BDS. you can also pursue Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Forensic Science, Clinical Nutrition, etc., after which you can take up Masters in the same field of study so that you can thoroughly get acquainted with your specialization. can also try for qualifying as an astronaut, pilot, or for indian defence services.
if you take up commerce, then the best you can pursue is Chartered Accountancy as a bright career or can also strive to become a Cost and Works Accountant.
you can also take up arts to study further in literature, civics. can also go to civil services qualifying UPSC.
other than these academic courses, you can also explore your field of interest as a career, such as, Hotel management, professional photography, bank management, fashion or interior designing, mass communication, journalism, etc.
if sports fascinate you, it can also be taken up as a career.
    all the best.

Class tenth is the main class of deciding your career because here only the branches gets divided like Science, Commerce and Arts. But I must say every branch has got equal value in the market so first better you decide your Aims and goals of your life and then choose the branch. In science field you will have again two choices like Medical field and Non medical field ,In commerce field you can enter with maths and without maths and last the Arts branch..
I wish you all the best !!!

just to become something in life , you can just go for the settlement in the life and will not enjoy it.
You have to go for the field of your intrest and then you can choose the courses related to that intrest .
But for making the settlement in life best course you should do B.tech and MBA .

The most important factor is your intrest, goal, in your career. These things should be kept in mind before selecting a stream at 10+2.
If you are intrested in science and maths, you have very good options as you can do BE / BTech.
If you are intrested in science with less intrest in maths, go for medical field. Else you can go for a Bsc degree in microbiology, bioinformatics etc.
If you are intrested in finance and accounts go for commerce as you can later go for CA,CS,CFA etc.

It will fully depend on your interest and the quality of marks obtained...
    1) if you take science/maths then you can do engineering, B.S.C , research analyst
    2) if you take commerce as your stream, then future options are CA, CS, ICWA, B.COM, BBA, BCA
    3) if you choose arts then IAS,RAS ,History (hons)

according to me, choose for commerce it is the most good option.

Re: How to go about selecting the career path after 10th standard?

    Dear,

The carrier choice after class 10th is one of the most important decisions of one's life.

First of all , think which subject you are interested in depending upon your strengths and weaknesses.

I think that there is more scope in the engineering sector than in the medical or commerce.

As an engineering student , you can go for the exams such as AIEEE , IIT , etc.

As a science student , you can go for the AIIMS , AIPMT , AFMC , BHU PMT , etc.

As a commerce student , you can for the Banking , Accountant , CA , MBA , etc.

As an arts student , you can go for the B.Ed , CA , MBA , etc.

Once you take a decision , you should also work out the consequences and then accept your decision.

    Thanks.

It just depend on your interest if you are interested in engineering or medical field then you should opt for science stream, if you are interested in banking, business etc then opt for commerce if you are interested in civil services like IPS etc then ofcourse go for arts. Spend time with yourself and try to know in which field you are interested and go accordingly.
All the best for your future

At first think that in which subjects you are interested and are you doing good in that.

Then search or ask about the carrier prospects of that subjects like if you are interested in bio then every one will suggest you for doing MBBS course and if you are interested in maths then every one will say you for engg.

For doing job in bank sector you should select the commerce field.

Also many option is avliable like diploma course and IT course.

There are a lot of streams in which you can make your career. Class 11th is a crucial stage of our life and we need to decide to which direction we want to move ahead in our life.
Now, you can choose commerce stream. if you have interest in finance and want to be connected with financial matters. You can choose science, if you want to make a career in life sciences
.You can also choose arts or humanities if you have an edge for that.
