->yes,you can join Merchant Navy after completion of 12th with PCM(physics,chemistry and mathematics) subjects but you have to give and crack the entrance exam to join the Merchant Navy after 12th.

->you have to give the NDA(national defense academy) entrance exam to join merchant navy.

->there are two rounds in NDA entrance exam i.e.:-
1.preliminary test or written test
2.main test or an interview.

->the eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy is:-

1.you should be an Indian.
2.your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.only unmarried males are eligible for NDA.
4.girls are not allowed.
5.you should have at least 60% marks in 12th.
