How To Get Into Armed Forces After Diploma

Since, diploma is considered to be an equivalent of class 12th so you can appear for the National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam which is conducted by the UPSC in April and August

Candidates need to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criterion for appearing on this exam :-

1) The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as seen on 1st July of the year of the exam

2) The candidate must have passed out 12th or equivalent or should be appearing in the exam

The candidates should be physically fit with perfect vision and should be taller than 155cm

Candidates will be tested on the following things during the written exam :-

General Ability : General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Basic Maths,Science and English

candidates need to clear the written exam after which they have to clear the interview and the medical examination

The forms for the next NDA Exam shall release on 31st December,2011 and the last date to fill the forms is 30th January,2012

The next NDA Exam will be conducted on 15th April,2012

You can join Indian Airforce or Indian Navy after completing Diploma in Computer Engineering after appearing in following Exams or Schemes . But for these exams you should be degree holder or graduate passed student .

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam

Only male candidates are eligible for exam .
You should be unmarried .
Your age should be between 19-24 Years .
You should have Degree from a recognized University .
You should have physics & mathematics at 10+2 level compulsory .

Eligibility criteria for AFCAT Exam

Candidate apply for this should between 20 - 27 yrs.
Candidates nee to have the bachelor degree
Candidates need to have at least 60% marks .

For applying for these exams you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for joining in them as they are important.

Eligibility for NDA:

• Candidate must be a citizen of India
  
• Candidate appearing for the NDA Exam must be a unmarried male candidate
  
• The age limit for the NDA Exam states that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years.
  
• Education qualification for the NDA Exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education in order to be eligible.
  
• For joining in Indian Navy and Air force the candidate must have completed +2 with PCM as subjects in order to be eligible.
  
• The candidate appearing for the exam must be physically fit as it is very important

To join Indian Army,Indian Airforce or Indian Navy,you will have to sit in the exam of NDA(National Deffence Academy) or CDSE(Combined Deffence Service Exam).

Both the exams conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commision) two times every year.
In Both exams,Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply.

Eligiblity for NDA Exam:-
Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.
You should complete your 10+2 with Physics and Math.
You should be Physically fit on the Medical Terms.

Last date to apply for this exam - 30 January 2012.
