    To join any polytechnic course in government polytechnic college, you should have passed THSLC/SSLC or equivalent examination. There is no restriction in marks or grade. You can have the application form and prospectus from the any of the polytechnic colleges at a cost of Rs. 100/- for open category students and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST students. To get the application through post, you have to send a DD of Rs. 135/- (Open category) or Rs. 85/- (SC/ST) drawn in favor of principal of concerned college along with a request letter. The application forms will be available from the third week of May 2012. The completed application with all the documents & self addressed stamped acknowledgement card must reach the principal of the concerned college. The last date to submit the filled application will be in the second week of June 2012.

    Hi friend,

    Eligibility for Polytechnic courses:

    • 10Th must be completed by you with at least 40% marks from a recognized Education board.
    • You must not have any backlog left in 10Th.
    • Your age must not be more than 23 years.

    or
    • ITI course must be pursued by youfrom a recognized ITI Institute.
    • You must have passed your course with at least 33% marks.
    • Your age must not be more than 23 years.

    or
    • 12Th must be completed by you in any Vocational category courses from a recognized Vocational Institute.
    • You must have completed your Vocational course with at least 33% marks.

    or
    • 12Th must be completed by you with PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Maths) from a recognized Education Board.
    • 12Th must be completed by at least 40% marks.



    NOTE: On the basis of 10Th you will get admission in 1st year of Diploma course,whereas on the basis of ITI or 12Th with Vocational,PCM you will directly get admission in 2nd year of Diploma course.


    To get admission in any Government Polytechnic College,you need to get a good rank in the Diploma Entrance Test.If you % in 10Th is more than 80% than you can go for admission under" Direct Entry" mode.Under this mode you will get direct admission in Government Polytechnic on the basis of your % in 10Th without any Entrance test.I also had got admission in Government Polytechnic because my % in 10Th was 86%,so i got direct admission there without any Entrance test.

    ->For Government Polytechnics: Rs 15K to 18K

    ->For Private Polytechnics: Rs 20K to 25K.

    Hello Friend !!


    You can get admission into Polytechnic Course in any College only through the Entrance Examination.


    CEEP -- Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnic.

    This is the only way for you to get an admission in the Polytechnic colleges.

    This is the Entrance Exam Conducted in every State.

    CEEP is handled by "The State Board of Technical Education and Training" of every State.

    The Application Fee is Rs.350/- for CEEP 2012.

    Eligibility Criteria to appear for CEEP-2012 :

    If you have passed SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Secondary Education.

    If you are compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC are also eligible to apply but you must clear all the subjects.

    Important Dates of CEEP, 2012 :

    Commencement of sale of CEEP-2012 booklet along with application form Rs 20/- : 21 -03-2012 (Wednesday)

    Last date for sale of CEEP booklet and filing of online application form : 20-04-2012 (Friday)

    Date of conduct of ceep-2012 Examination : 02-05-2012 (Wednesday) 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM

    So, as per this the CEEP 2012 is already conducted and the academic classes for 2012-2013 are also started.

    I suggest you to apply for next year CEEP Exam in order to get admission into Polytechnic Course.
