There are N number of choices to do Mtech apart from GATE score ,Because there are many colleges available which offers Mtech courses without GATE score.The thing is you need to search the colleges .Uvinersity like Anna university c,Vellore University,Amity University,Amrita University,Indraprasth University,DrDY Patil university and many more university conducts their own exam for getting students for Mtech.You can write these exams and do your Mtech.If you wants to go to NIT also then I must tell you there are some NIT which opens some of their seats for Non GATE students like NIT Durga pur,NIT Raurkelle etc !!!!

some colleges conduct exam and interveiw to fill the remaining seats of M.Tech. you can try for that

Hi Friend,Basically to get seat in any college/university for M.Tech u need to attempt GATE exam and shud obtain GATE score card for admission.
Dont worry,you can get admission even without GATE card.
Based on ur degree % u get admission in few colleges or u can go for management quota.
Going for management quota is d best option to get admissison in a reputed college/university without GATE score/rank card.

There are many colleges/universities who offer m.tech course without GATE exam.You can apply to them college. But you must have score atleast 55% marks in graduation from a reputated institute.

hi. there are lotof colleges who takes students for MTECH widout gate score. you can apply for them but they are not beneficial as such .so its better to try for GATE

There are some institute which provide direct admission to M.Tech course without GATE score.
But you need to give certain exam conducted by the institutes.
There are institutes which conduct their own exam.

Without GATE Exam there are many institutes which are providing their own entrance exams name of the institues which take candidate without gate exam are:-

the gate is must for doing m.tech in iit.you did'n attend the gate enterance exam.if you are interested you can join another institutes amoung with your marks obtained.you are economically high you can join in most popular private institutes/colleges/universites.some of the institues want enterance exam performance.you can join payment seat or write the required enterance in required institutes or next year you can write the gate exam.in tamilnadu more then 400 colleges available for m.tech.best of luck.find your way.and run run run...do not stop.

U can join some private institutions, where they will not ask for gate score, but some institutions will conduct there own entrance exams. check with individual colleges

Well other the GATE following few entrance were there for getting into M.Tech degree courses:-

PGEEE by IIIT, Hydrabad

TANCET by Anna University and other supporting colleges in Tamil Nadu

Entrance conducted by BITS for admission into its ME courses however it accept GATE scores but also conducts entrance for candidates having passed any degree from BITS.

But bad news is that you have lost the opportunity for all of them because not only application are over but entrance also. TANCET is going to be held on 29th and 30th of May.

So, better next time be cautious and go through GATE.

you can apply other entrance exam. entrance exam is eligible according to that university.

If you don't attend GATE Exam then there are alternate exam are available which are conducted by the Institute.

There are many colleges and universities which accept students with out gate score as they have their own criterion. And the courses they offer are also different. Some of the programs which are quite popular from core sector are like built environment, structural engineering, Robotics, artificial intelligence etc. These programs are in good demand in the job market and also you can easily get a job in any multinational organisation too. So, look for these programs as they have very good scope.

Not only the gate exam is possible for the m tech. There are more possibilites are available. You did not attend the gate exam on problem. You can select other colleges and universites. The are many number of colleges and universites are available. You can select any one. Best of luck.

HII, DONT WORRY FRIEND STILL PGCET IS IN OUR HAND , IT IS CONDCUTED BY THE VTU, EVERY YEAR THIS TIME APLLICATIONS NOT YET ANNOUNCED, IN JUNE THEY WILL PUT CHECK OUT VTU.AC.IN, ALSO PGCET.VTU.AC.IN.

you can go for m-tech without GATE only if you are from b-tech student.
otherwise you have to pass entrance exam.

INDPRASTHA UNIVERSITY and JAMIA UNIVERSITY have own entrance exam on the basis of you can do M.tech.......

hii if you need to get into MTECH without GATE then you need to write the PGCET exam.This time PGCET exam is been conducted by the KEA.exam is scheduled to be held on august 6, furhter all details about the eligibilty and admissions you can check with,http://www.kea.kar.nic.in

With out gate entrance it is not so difficult to do M.Tech ! Top private universities like AMITY will give you an admission based on your marks in B.Tech ! It will be better to you to make your M.Tech in a good recognized university .

GATE entrance is conducted for M.Tech admissions in top engineering colleges in india
if you want to get admission in M.Tech without GATE exam then you have to apply for M.Tech admission in state level like TANCET entrance for tamilnadu.
so after completing your BE do write state level entrance and apply for state level ME admissions.

Ans:

1.M.Tech admissions are filled on the basis of GATE exam

2.GATE--- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

3.GATE is a all India wide exam, along with every state will conduct their own CET(Common Entrance Test ) like PGECET conducted by O.U(Osmania University) behalf of A.P state Govt.

4.The seats which are not filled by GATE will be considered for state wide CET qualifiers

5.The PGECET in A.P is not having -ve marking and paper is also so simple

6.The one who got seat in M.Tech through other than GATE will not get stipend from Central Govt. Stipend is 8000/- to 12000/- depends on college
