Re: How to get admission for B.Sc Physics?

To study Physics hons from the top rung colleges you have to make sure that along with your aggregate marks your marks particularly in physics should be very good as the cut off marks of these colleges is very high. Generally if your aggregate marks is not 60% and your physics marks is less than 60 then you won't get hons. That is the basic eligibility criteria.
Some even takes entrance exams and the merit list is published by combining your board marks and entrance exam marks.
These days most of the colleges conducts the admission process online where they asks you to fill up all the details , print the challan and deposit the money in some bank.
While others may ask you to download the application form and submit in the college itself.
This may vary from one college to the other. So its advisable to take these information much in an advance before the admission process starts. So shortlist your colleges beforehand.

Following are some of the top institutes in India:-

    Loyola College, Chennai
    St. Xavier's College, Kolkata
    St. Stephen's College, Delhi
    St. Xavier's College, Mumbai
    Madras Christian College. Chennai
    Presidency College, Chennai
