    Hi..To get the admission in the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for Bachelor of Education(B.ED) One need to attend for the national entrance test, which is conducted by IGNOU.
    >So You need to apply for the entrance test first ,and have to pass in that exam.Then you are eligible for B.Ed in IGNOU delhi.All The Best...

    FRIEND,

    B.ED stands for bachelor of Education and this course is of duration 2 year and can be done after graduation to become a Teacher in primary and secondary schools.

    This can be done from various colleges across India.To get admission in IGNOU for B.ED you have to first of all fill the application form and then appear in the entrance exam and if you clear then you will be given admission in the B.ED course.

    You can buy the application form from the college or you can get it by Post or you can fill the application form online on the official website of IGNOU.


    IGNOU Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is an undergraduate academic degree which qualifies the graduate as a teacher in schools

    The minimum qualification required for entry into BEd course is Bachelor of Arts(B.A),Bachelor of Science (BSc)or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). While students from arts stream are trained to teach subjects like history, civics, geography and languages.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR B.ED IS:

    1) You must have got a bachelor degree or a higher degree from any recognized university.

    2) You must also have a two year full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognised by the central or a state government or a union territory.

    3)That experience certificate should be issued by the Principal, or Headmaster/Headmistress.

    PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION:

    The Admission in the B.ED course is based on an Entrance Test. The test will be conducted in the month of July/August.

    The notification for the exams will come out in the month of April/May.

    There are a lot of Universities which conducts an entrance exam for B. Ed. Entrance for Regular and Correspondence Courses.

    The Duration of the exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes and the exam consists of Multiple choice type questions and the paper also has negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

    There are Five sections in the test of 15 Marks and 15 Questions Each:

    • Part A: General Awareness Test
    • Part B: Teaching Potential Test
    • Part C: General Mental Ability Test
    • Part D: Language Proficiency Test
    • Part E & F: Language Proficiency Test: English and/or Hindi

    The admission to the B.ED programs in the IGNOU University is made on the basis of an entrance exam which is conducted by IGNOU.
    This entrance test is carried out every year in an all India level.

    The eligibility criteria-
    1)You should be graduate.
    2)You should have atleast 55% marks in academics.

    admission for B.Ed correspondence in IGNOU Delhi--------------

    1.the candidate must be graduate from recognised university
    2.you should have atleast 55% marks in academics
    3.for 45% of sc/st catagories
    4.final year students can apply.
