I would tell you the details as far as I know. Generally women are not allowed in IMA to join as officer cadre. They are allowed for selection only in OTA ( officers training academy ) in non-technical course. Even though the height is not considered for you to apply, the age limit is a big problem for you now. Just refer the notification of combined defense services in the upsc website. I think this time, you would not eligible to apply in grounds of age limit. You have missed out a chance of applying last year.

Its good that you are really Interested in going for Indian Army .I would like to suggest you that after graduation there are entries like UES entry,TGC , so you can choose these entries to get enter into Indian Army.The forms you need tpo check on official website of Indian Army .Form comes twice a year !!!

Yeah you have heard right.

There is strict regulation regarding age and fitness. Along with proper age candidate must be physically fit in all respect weather height, any other physically appearance or mental and internal health. Candidate must be active and healthy. And also the minimum permissible height is 153 centimeters or 5.2 feets (approx).

There are various entry schemes for a female candidate for getting into Indian National Army (INA). Each scheme has its own eligibility criteria and educational and age requirements. For a graduate female candidate basically there are following mode of entries:-

• CDSE - Combined Defence Services Examination
  
• UES - University Entry Scheme
  
• Other schemes

Both including all of them the maximum permissible age is 23 years.

So, being a 25 years graduate you are not eligible for INA.

Indian Army officer is not a post for female.But you can join OTA(Officers Training Academy).
The eligibility is a bachelor's degree in any stream.
The age limit is 19-25yrs.

You can get the application form from the post offices by cash payment of Rs 20/-.

Women can too join air force through combine defence service.

Yes there are ways in which a female candidate can apply for Indian army. but the number of ways are limited. girls cannot apply for IMA. the other ways can be stated as follows:
exams conducted by UPSC to apply for the respective post are as follows:
National Defence Academy - UPSC Exam (Twice a year)
Combined Defence Services Exam - UPSC
Service Selection Board (SSB)
Exams to be conducted to work in the area ofParamilitary Services: CRPF, BSF, ITBP (Indo-Tibetian), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a must

you had chance to appear in CDS (combined defence services), before a year, but now a time you can't apply for that age wise.
Only candidates, graduate from affiliated university with min. Aggregate 60%,or equivalent in any stream with the age limit 19-23yr. On 1st july of exam year, are eligible to appear in CDS.

After completing 10th class a female can eligible to join Indian Army as an officer. For joining in Indian Army , you must have to give the NDA Entrance Examination and must reach 18 years old for eligible for Indian Army.

I would like to suggest you that after graduation, there are entries like UES entry, TGC, etc... So you can choose these entries to join indian army as officer.
You'll get the forms on the official website of the indian army. Forms comes twice in a year.

You have so many other options you can join them that will be good for you.

I think it is not a post for female.your age should be 21, height 149 cm but your age is 19 So I think you are not eligible for this.

There are only a few exams which are conducted all over India for the selection of girls for Indian Army. Though it is a challenging profession and many girls want to
enter into this sector to make a career in this direction, but the selection of girls in this field is very less as compared to boys.

The various exams which are conducted at some specific centers all over India for the selection of girls for army are as follows:
1)CDS(common defense services)-
This exam is conducted by concerned authority for the selection of girls who are suitable for defense sector. Apart from written exam, there are several other phases in such examination.
Apart from intelligence, physical fitness is also very necessary in such exams.

2)OTA(Officers Training Academy)-
As girls are not eligible to appear for NDA(National defense academy) exam, this exam allows them to enter into this profession.This a tough exam and if you qualify
this exam , you would sent for training for a certain period , after that you would be considered as an officer.

3)SSC(Short service commission)-
This is another way to enter into this profession and this exam makes you eligible to work as an officer for a period of 11years after which you have to appear for another exam for
extension of period of service.
But in may opinion, your height as well as your age factor would be a hurdle in appearing for such exams as most of the exams have a maximum age limit less than 32 years.
As far as height is concerned there are different provisions for height in different exams.I would suggest you to check the official website of Indian army for getting more
information in this regard.
