I have taken commerce with maths and now having issues in it so is it advisable to opt for commerce without maths for better scores.

Any entrance exam takes your aptitude test on qualitative and quantitative basis.It is just to check your knowledge,just to check what have you read and learn.How much can you memorise the things.
By being little weak in mathematics,you need to enhance your English and General knowledge.

CAT exam mathematical aptitude may seem sort of tough at the beginning, but trust me, it is very easy and follows basic math rules only!
All you need to do is understand what is asked and what is the fastest way to approach the problem! Take on many such problems, and you will slowly get used to it..
You see, try getting some CAT books from the library and practice solving problems with a friend who is good at math ready to help at your side. Trick is, try to take on the problem without his/her help mostly! Trust me, give it a few days and it will work!

Plus, If you are so not confident in mathematical part, it is highly advisable to strengthen up yourself in verbal and logical areas..

If things still worry you, you can always join a good CAT coaching centre, where you will get guidance on how to approach problem and solve it in the easist and shortest manner!

Also, it is best for you if you improve your speed of solving your problems because in every entrance exams, time factor plays a crucial role!!

You should believe that you belong to the competitive arena and you can clear these competitive exams if you can perform to best of your abilities. Belief is everything and everything can be achieved through belief.

You have to study minimum of 4 hours a day for competitive exams. We can manage this time by preparing time table for each day. We can take inputs such as time for each subject, part of syllabus completed, time for revision, questions attempted and so on to record data.

The best method to sharpen your mind is to do as many questions as you can. Try to do questions in as minimum time as possible.
