Re: need tips for bank po exam

Time management is a key aspect for preparing for these entrance exam. You need to make a structured plan. Begin with noting all the areas that will be part of this test. Once you have the list highlight the most important parts where you need more preparation. Then check out the time available till the next exam. Allocate time for the high priority first. Donot put more than one high priority in a day. You can do some simple topics along with it. At the end of the day some time should be for revision. Once you cover all the areas. You should have time to solve at least 5-10 question papers before the exam. It is important that if you find any areas in the test papers difficult then you need to revise them.

    5.General English.

You need to qualify in each of these categories individually in order to qualify for the written test.

For Quantitative aptitude, almost all the questions are direct questions mostly. So you have to learn all the formulas and try to complete the problem in less number of steps.
    Be good at percentages
    profit and loss
    simple and compound interest
    time and work
    time and distance
    hcf and lcm

For general English, try to read the sentences and understand them in less span of time and at the same time focus on grammar mostly tenses,.

For reasoning, everyone can do these problems. Only thing or quality that is required is being capable of thinking analytically.

The more you think with your mind, the less number of time it will be for you to complete the given question.

For general awareness, it will not be done in a single day to prepare for the exam. You need to study various news papers, magazines.

Dear friend the only thing that matters specially in bank PO exam is speed with accuracy. So i recommend you to practice as much as mcq at home so that your speed goes up. Also try to limit yourself within the time interval to do a required no of questions. Also try to join a test series if possible.
    Best of luck..........

It requires a thorough preparation of all the subjects to be studied for bank PO and it also requires a lot of time management as the number of topics to be studied are really vast.
In my opinion, while doing sample question papers, the time should be divided as follows:
    General Awareness-20 minutes
    Reasoning-77 minutes
    Mathematics-40 minutes
    English- 20 minutes
There should also be thorough preparation for the descriptive test.Effective time management can lead to sure success.
