Thumbs up Re: How to clear SSC GK part? Will SST books from class 7 to 10 helps me to cope up with GK part or not?

    Hello Friend

SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) main responsibility is to recruit the Group B ( non gazetted both Technical and Non-technical ) and Group C ( non-technical ) in departments in government of India, its attached and its subordinate offices except for which the recruitment is based upon the Railway Recruitment Board ( R.R.B ) and Industrial Department.

The selection and appointment is mainly based upon the Written exam and an Interview where you will be taken in, SSC has National wide network and mainly regulates the laws of the Organization in implementing the standards of conducting the examination and recruiting the members in various government sectors.

Coming to the examination it mainly depends upon the General Knowledge test which mainly covers the syllabus like

    1. Mental ability
    2. Current affairs
    3. History
    4. Economics
    5. Geography
    6. Reasoning

As you asked to get the G.K part, dude i say that you follow the N.C.E.R.T ( National Council of Education Research & Training ) books published by the Indian Government for the C.B.S.E ( Central Board of Secondary Education ) students every year.

NCERT books are the best choice, which will be available in all book shops, you can follow the NCERT books from 6th to the 10th standard Geography, History, Economics and Political Science books to crack the general knowledge part.
If you want to download the e-books of NCERT you can go through the following link

where you can get all classes books of NCERT for download.

Dude for current affairs i recommend that you daily follow the different News Papers and also try to collect the 1 year before the exam date News papers and try to read.

Coming to the Logical and Reasoning part you can get different publications in the market where you can get and practice like

    - upkars publications
    - Gupta publications
    - Kiran Prakashan publications

Dude for any further information you can leave your message here.
