    Yes , You are applicable for IAS Exam .

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.There is not require any kind of Percentage marks for IAS Exam.

    Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    CSAT exam conduct in 3 steps like - 1)Preliminary Exam 2)Mains Exam 3)Personal Interview.

    Preliminary examination has two sections and each section consist of 200 marks.Both sections are objective types questions.

    you must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification to get eligible .
    as you are pharmacy students you are also eligible to this exam.
    age limit
    you must have 21 years of age and your age must not be above 30 years on august 1 of the year of examination.
    age relaxation
    • you have 5 years of age relaxation if you are belong to the SC/ST,
    • you have 3 years of age relaxation if you are belong to the other backward classes,
    • you have 5 years of age relaxation if you are domiciled in JAMMU Kashmir during the period between January,1,1980 and December 31,1989.
    the IAS exam will be consists of three stages
    • prelims,
    • mains,
    • and finally interview stage ,
    preliminary examination:
    in this exam there will be two papers :
    the IAS prelims consists of objective and consists of two compulsory papers to all of them .
    the negative marks for each question is 0.33 marks,
    • general studies carries 150 marks,
    • any one optional subject -300 marks,
    optional subjects for the preliminary examination,
    • agriculture,
    • animal husbandry and veterinary science

    • chemistry,

    you have 2000 marks for the written exam and 300 marks for the interview.the interview conducted on the basis of main exam . so you have to prepare well for the exam.
    the notifications for the civil services prelims will be appear in employment news and on UPSC's website on 04-02-2012.
    the exam is going to be held on 20-05-2013.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

    AGE LIMIT :
