You can master Java with the appropriate coaching from a good institute. You can even do with self study but for that you will have to work very hard and purchase lots of books and materials to study concepts of java. You can easily do summer training programs offered by various companies for example HP(Hewlett Packard). There is core java and then advanced java which you can do.Also you can keep practicing by yourself making several programs on different topics and getting them verified by experts. Also take help of the internet in studying and finding answers to your queries. If you have interest in computer science then other related courses you can look into are .NET,HTML,Linux,Networking,C++,etc.
