    dear friend,
IIT-JEE entrance examination is the toughest engineering entrance in India, without coaching it is difficult to prepare for IIT because coaching gives the ideas and influence you to read.Even without coaching you can prepare for IIT-JEE but you have to do extra hard work.you can prepare for IIT by following way.
    1.cover the IIT syllabus.
    2. Follow the extra books like-Dinesh objective books
physics and chemistry from AIIMS explorer
    and most importantly
    physics for IIT-JEE
    Chemistry for IIT-JEE
    Mathematics for IIT-JEE
    3. Do hard work with the thinking that i can get IIT.
    All the best.

    HAI....

IIT JEE exams can be written on our own but there is a difficulty in clearing doubts.

under the guidance of someone, it will easy for us to get the more scoring.and can experience many

things by writing the exams with in the institutions.

But, Also if you are interested than you can prefer the books of the related subjects.

I mostly suggest you to join only in the coaching classes.

All the best for your preparation....
