    It is good to start preparation for the exam early. You must first focus for the aptitude oriented section i.e. CSAT. In this section you can expect questions from reasoning, quantitative ability, current affairs etc. For all these areas you must make sure that you are thorough in all the type of questions asked during the exam. For the general awareness section especially vast reading is required. Read newspapers, year books etc. You can start preparing for the Mains exams once you join for graduation course. But make sure you regularly solve papers for the CSAT section too.

    For IAS examination Candidates must have graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university.

    So you needed to complete your study.
    You have to make strong knowledge knowledge in current affairs , English ,Reasoning qualitative apititude .

    Age limit:
    21 years to 30 years.

    No of attempts:
    for general candidates: 4 times
    ,for obc : 7 times and for sc/st no limit.

    You have to work very very hard for qualifying IAS examination.
    Its is the must difficult and mostly demanded by younger students to qualify in IAS examination.
    IAS is the most prestigious and powerful post.
    To become IAS you must have good personality and good communication skill.

    Its very good that you have decided your Aim for IAS.

    But for the IAS post you have study first ,computer your 12 standard and then complete your graduation in any stream.

    to become Indian Administrative service ,you have appear in Civil Services Exams.

    This exams conducts every year by UPSC .

    The required qualification for this exam :

    Candidate must have graduate in any stream ,
    Candidate must have citizenship of India.
    Age should be between 21 to 30 years .

    No of Attempts:

    for General : 4
    For OBC : 7 and for SC or ST:
    no limit

    You will have do hard work for The IAS post, ,because there is one year long competitive exam.

    You have strong your English , Current Affairs , GK , You must be physically fit for IAS, because some times the selected candidates are disqualified because of their unfitness.
