    Dear friend,
    You cann't apply for INdian navy as you have 57% only in your degree,because Indian navy asks min.60% in degree.But you can apply for Indian army.For that you have to apply for CDS exam or you can apply through TGC(technical) entry.
    Eligibility for CDSE:
    1.Candidate should be a Indian citizen.
    2.Candidate should be unmarrried.
    3.For army-any graduate degree(min.50%),
    4.Age should be between 19-24 yrs. for army(For IMA)19-25 for OTA,.

    Procedure for CDS:
    1. Three written exams one is of maths,one is of english,one is of general awareness.
    You have to clear the exam
    2.After that you will be called for SSB,its a process of 5 days.
    3.Medical test for 5 days.
    4.Merit list

    Eligibility for TGC:
    1.Candidate should be A engg. graduate.
    2.Max. age is 30 yrs.
    3.There is no written exam .
    4.Candidate directly will be called for SSb.
    You can apply for both entries.

    You can join Indian Navy through the following Entries ;-
    1]CDS -Combined defense service this exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
    This exam is only for those candidate who has completed their graduation in any discipline.
    Age limit 19 -22 years .
    2]SSC- Short service commission a candidate can also join Navy as a officer through SSC
    entrance exam .This paper is also conducted by UPSC .But it is short service commission
    it means a candidate can serve in Indian Navy for limited period .
    Age limit 19-22 years .
    3]TGS -Techinical graduate scheme in this a candidate should have degree in engineering .
    Age limit 19-22 years .

    To make career in Indian Navy after graduation course,then you should appear for CDS exam.CDS stands for Combined Defense Service.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice to take qualified students into defense service like
    >>Indian Navy
    >>Indian Air Force
    >>Indian Army

    To appear for CDS(Indian Navy),you should have completed minimum graduation degree in engineering with any branch from a recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 22 years.

    If you fulfill with this criteria,then you are eligible to apply for CDS exam.

    Notification details for this year:
    CDS-I exam notification released on 28th Oct 2011,closed on 29th Nov 2011 and exam held on 12th Feb 2012.
    CDS-II exam notification will release on 2nd June 2012,closes on 2nd July 2012 and exam will held on 16th Sept 2012.

    Hi friend..
    You want to make your career in INDIAN NAVY its a good idea.But you are having less percentage , because eligibility is 60% of marks in any exam conducted by UPSC.
    You can join Indian navy through CDS exam which is conducted every 2 years.Eligibility for CDS exam is candidate should have completed degree in any stream with good percentage of marks.
    Age should be between 19-22.you will have exam if you clear that you will have SSB interview which is conducted for 5 days.If you clear that you will have medical test after that you may join in Indian navy based on your performance you will be given certain position.log on to www.upsc.gov.in for information regarding Indian navy recruitment.all the best
