Well you cannot join after 10th.
you need to complete your graduation.
then you need to apply for UPSC exams
these exams are conducted twice a year.
when you clear these exams then you get admission into NDA,then you can take airforce.

so for now after 10th, take admission into 12th with science stream, then do any graduation degree ,most preferable for you is BSc computer.
then you can give UPSC exams...for NDA to become a pilot....

To join the Indian Air Force, a candidate must clear the NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam which is held twice a year in the months of April and August

For appearing in the NDA Exam, a candidate must fulfill the following criterion :-

1) The candidate must be a 12th pass out in Science stream from a recognized board

2) The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

For getting into Air Force which is a defence force you need to write the entrance exam for it.You cannot apply for any entrance exam with the qualification of just finishing 10th standard.

You could opt for the NDA Exam which is a defence force exam and for it you need to have a minimum qualification of completion of +2.

This exam is conducted as NDA I and NDA II every year.If you are so much interested in joining in Air Force as soon as possible means you can write this exam,but only after you finish your +2.

Sorry but there is no such examination which can make you eligible to work in Indian Air force just after completing your 10th standard.
In my opinion you should for the time being concentrate on your studies of 11th standard and later on on your higher secondary studies.
This will greatly help you in making a great future.As far as a career in air force in concerned, you would be eligible to apply for lower posts just after completing 12th and for higher posts you have to firstly complete your graduation.

No you can't join airforce after completing 10th.For joining into Airforce you need to complete your 12th and then you have to
write NDA exam.
ELIGIBILITY:-
You must be unmarried males. Your age must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.If you are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also suitable to submit an application for this exam. As to get admitted into the Naval Academy and National Defense Academy, you also need to pass in the physical fitness test, as part of the selection process.

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

Indian Air Force is the flying wing of the Indian Defense system. The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is the government body which conducts an exam called the NDA - National Defense Academy.

sorry you can't join airforce after 10th standard. For NDA you need to complete 10+2 from recognised institute.
To join the Indian Air force, you will need to write NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible to write the exam is 10+2 from a recognised institution.
The minimum eligible age to write the exam is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age is 19 years.

To join in Indian Air force,you should have minimum 12th class to appear for the defense service exam.After completing 12th class,you should appear for NDA exam to join in Indian Air Force.
National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

Physical Standards –


Physical fitness is one of the most important prerequisites for joining the Air Force.

Day 1: Intelligence and Psychological Tests

Day 5: Conference day where all the different assessors sit together and discuss the abilities and performance of candidate in order to check whether he is to be recommended or not.


Those students who successfully complete these steps have to appear for the medical examination.


Lastly, a merit list is prepared and joining instructions are provided to the successful candidates by the Air force Head-Quarters.
