    Dear friend,
If you want to find your percentage in graduation.
So first you just add your all marks that you have
obtained in graduation. After that the total marks
of all the subjects. For example if you have 6 subjects
and each paper of 100 marks then total will be 600 marks.
So marks obtained in exam divided by total marks and then
    multiply by 100.
    Percentage=Marks obtained/Total marks*100.
    Thank you

You need to divide your total marks obtained by the total of your subject marks and multiply it by 100.
For instance,if you have scored "xyz" marks and you have in all 6 subjects each of 100 marks.
    Then,xyz/600*100.

To calculate your total marks is Graduation do like this.

Suppose you have completed your Graduation in Engineering then :-

Keep all your semester marks with you to calculate your total percentage.

Engineering is of 4 years :-
    • 1st year
    • 2nd year (2 semester`s as 2-1,2-2)
    • 3rd year (2 semester`s as 3-1,3-2)
    • 4th year (2 semester`s as 4-1,4-2)

1st year total marks are 1100 let us note down that you have got 700 out of 1100.

2nd year 1st semester total marks are 750 let us note down that you have got 400 out of 750.

2nd year 2nd semester total marks are 750 let us note down that you have got 500 out of 750.

3rd year 1st semester total marks are 750 let us note down that you have got 550 out of 750.

3rd year 2nd semester total marks are 750 let us note down that you have got 350 out of 750.

4th year 1st semester total marks are 750 let us note down that you have got 600 out of 750.

4th year 2nd semester total marks are 700 let us note down that you have got 470 out of 700.

So to calculate your total percentage :-

First add all the total of all the semester`s .

    i.e..

    (1st year total) + (2-1 total) + (2-2 total) +(3-1 total) + (3-2 total) + (4-1 total) + (4-2 total) = (1100) + (750) + (750) + (750) + (750) + (750) + (700)

The total of all semester`s is = 5550

Now calculate the total you have scored in every semester .

    700 + 400 + 500 + 550 + 350 + 600 + 470 = 3570.

Now divide the total you got by the actual total of all the semester`s.

    i.e..

Total of all the semester`s scored by you / Total of all the semester`s = 3570/5550

    3570/5550 = 64.32%.

64.32% is the percentage you have scored in your Graduation.

So this is the procedure to calculate your percentage in Graduation.

Re: How can I get the percentage of Total marks in graduation?

    Hello Friend ................

To get percentage generally you should know ...........How many marks you got................Foe how many marks the exam was held.........

If you have these two inputs you can directly find your percentage.........

    For example >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

480 marks obtained for 600 marks then

    percentage ====== (480/600)*100 ============ 80%..............

So in this way you can calculate your graduation percentage.............

If there are semester wise Similarly in the above given ...........If there are total 2 semesters then first calculate for first semester........then for second semester ..........Then do average them.................

    Ex : ( Sem1 + Sem 2 )/ 2

Then you will get percentage of your graduation marks ..............

    ALL THE BEST

Re: How can I get the percentage of Total marks in graduation?

    hi dear,
Basic formula for find the percentage are:
    (obtained marks/total marks)*100

Multiply your obtained marks with 100 and then divides the result with total marks then you will get your percentage.
If you want to find the percentage of graduation degree(means want to find the aggregate percentage in graduation) then you have to add the obtained marks of each year and then multiply with 100 and then divides the result with total marks of each year.
    For eg
In each year total marks of your subjects are 600 and you got 450 in 1st year, 500 in 2nd year and got 550 in final year then your percentage will:
(1500/1800)*100; then your percentage will 83.33%
