If your plan is doing ENGINEERING then this will be help full.

After completing your 12th you need to utilize your free time in learning languages like C,C++,JAVA etc..

Because they will be use full in your Garduation period.

IF you are good at those language before the Graduation starts the you can have a very good knowledge about them .

After your Garduation in Engineering when you go for a Campus interview they also ask you Questions on Languages you have in Engineering.

So i suggest you to go for coaching and get good knowledge on the Language as they will be use full in your Graduation and after your Garduation.
