    How can I become a pilot in Indian Navy?

    how to join in indian navy. my ambition is to become a pilot would u plz help in how can i acheve my goal plz.....@

    Hello,

    You can be a fighter pilot in Indian navy after completing your graduation from a recognized university.

    You can appear for CDSexamination and after passing it appear for SSB.

    Or you can directly appear for SSB through Short Service commission.

    You need to pass PABT (Pilot aptitude battery test) to become a fighter pilot, it is a lifetime test and taken only once.

    You need to be in age period of 19-23 years

    You need to have physics and math as main subject in class 12.

    physical eligiblities are:

    1-Your chest should be well developed. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm.
    2-The muscles of the abdomen should be well developed without any enlargement of the liver or spleen.
    3-An un-operated hernia can make you unfit for selection. If operated, this should have been done at least six months prior to the present examination and healing should be complete without any potential for recurrence.
    4-There should be no hydrocele, varicocele or piles.
    5-Urine examination will be done
    6-Vision will be tested. You must have good binocular vision
    7-You should have sufficient number of natural and sound teeth. A minimum of 14 dental points will be acceptable.

    ELIGIBILITY:-
    AGE:19 TO 23 YEARS BORN BETWEEN 02 JULY 1989;BOTH DATES INCLUSIVE.

    NOTE:APPLICANTS WHO HAVE FAILED IN PABT(PILOT APTITUDE BATTERY TEST)EARLIER ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PILOT ENTRY,BUT CAN APPLY FOR THE OBSERVER ENTRY SCHEME.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:A GRADUATE DEGREE IN ANY DISCIPLINE WITH MINIMUM 60% MARK.SHOULD HAVE QUALIFIED MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS AT 10-2 LEVEL.

    To Become an Indian Pilot you have to qualify the examination conducted for joining Defense services.

    The examination conducted for Defense services are :
    NDA examination.
    Combined Defense services examination.
    The examinations are conducted to join :
    Indian Army
    Indian Airforce
    and Indian Navy.

    For NDA examination you have have completd 12th class studies from a recognized board of the school from Maths ,physics subject must have studied.

    Age limit : 16.5 to 19 years.

    You must be Unmarried Male candidate having citizenship of India.

    And for Combinedly Defense Services examination must have degree in Science or Engineering of a recognized university.

    Age limit 19 years to 23 years.

    Selection Procedure :
    Written examination
    SSB Interview
    and Medical Test.
    Both the examination are conducted by UPSC evry two times.
    The notifications were released on UPSC official website or Employment News paper.
    You must have to regulary up to date with website and employment newspaper for examinations details .
