As you possess post graduation in Physics with good academic score, you can definitely build up a strong career in education sector. You can try for teaching jobs in higher secondary schools. SET is the basic qualification required to apply for teaching jobs in HSC. This is a state level test. The educational qualifications and marks required may vary with the decision of the authority that carries out the test. If you are interested to get in to teaching jobs in colleges, you must possess NET qualification. The exam is carried out by UGC. Post graduation with 55% marks is the qualification required to appear for the examination. Those who pass the examination can obtain a teaching post along with UGC scale salary.
