    How can I become a flying officer in Indian Air Force? What is the fee structure for same?

    hello sir,
    now iam studying fyjc-science & my date of birth is 9 june,1994.
    how can i become a FLYING officer in INDIAN AIR FORCE? How much i have to pay fee for that? please tell me detailly.

    How to apply:

    Information regarding Scheduled Test is advertised in the leading National Dailies and Rozgar Samachar/Employment New as and when the schedule is announced.

    Information regarding Recruitment Rallies is published in prominent local news papers as and when they are planned in certain areas.
    Recruitment Rallies are meant for selection of candidates from a particular geographical location only. Hence, one is required to be domicile of that area.

    Subjects and syllabus for each stream are given in the OFFICIAL website.

    AGE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CRITERIA to be AIRMEN

    Group 'X': 17 - 22 Years :
    Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.
    OR
    Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.
    Eligible trades:Technical Trades

    Group 'Y' : 17 -22 Years :
    Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational courses conducted by CBSE and Kerala Board recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) only are eligible.
    Eligible trades: All Group 'Y' Trades (Except Musician Trade)

    Group 'Z' : 17-25 Years :
    Passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boards, should be between 17-25 years of age and should be proficient in playing at least one musical instrument of the following:
    Trumpet /Bass/ Violin/ Saxophone/ Clarinet/ Euphonium /Jass-Drum/ Piccolo/Bass Trombone/ Key Board/ Guitar/ Sarod/ Viola/ Cello/ Contra Bass (String Bass).
    Eligible trades: Musician Trade


    To be in the National Defence Academy
    You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
    This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

    How to apply:

    You start by sending your application.
    The procedure for sending your application is fairly simple.
    The first stage is to watch out for the advertisement inviting applications in the leading newspapers and the Employment News.
    After you spot the relevant ad, you send your application in the format mentioned in the advertisement, before the last date of receiving of application.

    To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements:

    Age
    16 to 19 years At the time of commencement of training.

    Nationality
    Indian

    Gender
    This is applicable only to men.

    Educational Qualifications
    You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final year students can also apply.
    For Army wing:-
    The candidate must have complete the 12th with 60% marks.

    For Navy:-
    The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , chemistry , mathematics with 60% marks.

    For Air force:-
    The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , mathematics.

    Advertisemet Schedule
    March and October every year. ( Advertisement released by UPSC)

    N.D.A Exam Date,2012 :-

    Date of Notification : 31.12.11

    Last date for receipt of application : 30.01.12

    Date of examination : 15.04.12

    Getting in to Air Force Flying Batch Is A Difficult Job ,But If You Work Hard You Can Achieve It.

    Flying Branch:

    *Combined Defence Service Examination

    *National Cadet Corps Special Entry

    *Flying Pilot Short service commission


    For all these there will be a Written exam,Interview,Medical Test .

    Educational Qualification:

    >>Engineering in any stream with maths, physics at +2 level and You should have obtainedd 60% in graduation.

    >>Apart from Flying branch, you can also join the Technical branch as an Aeronautical engineer through direct entry scheme.

    YOU CAN APPLY FOR N.D.A EXAM ,THROUGH WHICH YOU CAN BECOME A AIR FORCE PILOT.

    NDA IS NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY WHICH GIVES TRAINING TO THE OFFICERS OF ALL WINGS OF INDIAN DEFENCE FORCES I.E ARMY ,NAVY,AIRFORCE..

    TO GET INTO IT YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY A EXAM CONDUCTED BY UPSC AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL FOR THE ENTRY OF OFFICERS IN DEFENSE FORCES..

    ELIGIBILITY OF NDA EXAM:

    1 Your age should be 16.5 to 19 years
    2 only unmarried male candidates can apply for this examination.
    3 you have to be passed or appearing class 12.
    4)for joining airforce you must have physics and maths as compulsory subjects..


    you can also go through technical entry scheme after class 12 also...

    IN THESE COURSES THERE IS NO FEES CHARGED ,BUT THERE IS ALSO SOME STIPEND PAYED BY INDIAN GOVT TO YOU...

    You should qualify in AFCAT exam to enter as a flying officer in IAF.

    AFCAT stands for AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST

    Indian Air Force Academy (IAF) conducts the AFCAT in order to select the eligible male and female candidates for various courses of IAF.

    Procedure of Selection in AFCAT :

    Step 1 Receipt of Applications and Written Test
    Step 2 Testing Officer Like Qualities
    Step 3 Conducting of Medical Examinations
    Step 4 Preparing All India Merit List

    About the flying officer :

    Flying Branch:

    >>Minimum of 19 years of age and maximum of 23 years.

    >>You must have the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

    Physical requirements:

    Height: Minimum acceptable height: 152.5 cm
    Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
    Vision: 6/36 each eye.
    Correctable with spectacles: at least 6/9 each eye.
    Diopteric power: not exceeding +3.5

    Training: Initial Joint Basic Phase Training(JBPT) will be provided at Airmen Training School, Belgaum(Karnataka) for 12 weeks. After it Trade Training will be provided.

    Pay and allowances after training period:

    During Training period, stipend of Rs. 21,000 would be given,
    After successful completion of the training, you would be commissioned as a Flying Officer with following approximate gross salaries:
    Flying Branch: Rs. 57,352

    *To become Airmen officer in Indian air force you should follow some conditions in eligibility

    Eligible Age

    *You must be between 17 years to 25 years for all the groups or streams you will apply for the Airmen officer in the air force


    Educational qualifications

    You should complete your 10+2 with 50% marks with Maths and physics as major subjects from a recognized board/university

    *If you are in diploma of any stream you are also eligible to apply for the airmen officer


    Exam to be written

    Therefore, the region's habitat needs.

    Dear friend ,
    UPSC conduct NDA Examination Twice a year but your age should be 16 to 19 years. you should passed +2 examination with physics and maths and lastly you should be unmarried for app ling for air force department.

    To join defense forces you have to give ..
    COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES EXAM..

    UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts this exam of NDA twice a year.

    Forms for CDS 2012 was available till DEC 2012.

    Your Exam will be held on 12 FEB 2012.

    AGE :19-23 years.
    AFTER EXAM YOU WILL RECEIVE SSB LETTER..

    SSB CONSISTS OF...
    DAY 1. SCREENING TEST
    DAY 2,3,4.
    PSYCHOLOGY TEST

    GROUP TEST

    PERSONAL INTERVIEW
    DAY 5.
    CONFERENCE
    PILOT APTITUDE BATTERY TEST

    AFTER GETTING RECOMMENDED YOU WILL HAVE MEDICALS AND THEN MERIT WILL BE RELEASED.

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i)19 to 23 years
    ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.
    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:
    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:
    You have to be Indian

    Gender:
    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications

    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    or
    You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

    2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

    Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

    The Physical standard For Indian Force:-

    1.>For Men

    1.>Minimum Height 162.5 cms without any exceptions

    2.>Leg Length Minimum- 99 cms to Maximum- 120 cms.

    3.>Thigh Length Maximum- 64 cms

    4.>Sitting Height Minimum- 81.5 cms to Maximum- 96 cms
