    To Become a C.I.D Officer ::

    Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) examination usually in the month of February.

    Eligibility for Central Bureau of Investigation Exam 2011: -

    1. Qualifications: -

    Degree of a regonised University or equivalent.


    2. Age Limit: -

    20 - 25 years.

    3. CBI Exam 2011 Application Forms: -

    The application form can be transferred from the official website of SSC and designated Post Offices.

    4. Selection Procedure 2011: -

    Selection based on Written Test, Personal Interview and According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India.


    5. Examination Pattern : -

    a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

    CID means Criminal investigation Department ,It is a crime detection agency under the government of india. Their are various devisions in CID such as finger print bureau, crime investigation bureau
    etc.The people work under this department are known as CID officers.

    EXAMINATION PROCESS:>>
    >>CID examination is conducted by UPSC (union public service commission) and the interested candidates must appear in the examination for joining CID.

    If you want job in Criminal Investigation Department,then you need to follow bellow information regarding requirements;.

    And this is is a crime detection agency under the govt of india and here you can work in different sections such as Finger Print Bureau and the Crime Investigation Bureau and scientific section.

    Required Requirements :

    If you want become a CID officer,then you need to write and qualifying exam conducted by the Crime Investigation Department.

    The exam is Indian Civil Services examination,this is under control by the union public service commission.

    .
    First you will need to become a police office,r and then you can be promoted to a cid officer.

    if your interest lies in doing a government job in CBI, CID etc then you need to take the Civil services Examination

    conducted by the UPSC
    .�The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is a central investigating agency under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
    The CBI has field branches all are over India, mainly in state capitals.
    Recruitment of Deputy Superintendents of Police in the CBI (Group B) is done through the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC.

    Certain physical standards are prescribed for officers in this service
    . On selection, u have to undergo a foundation course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy and are sent to the CBI Training Academy at Ghaziabad for further inputs.

    The age requirement is 20-25 years. You will need to decide where your real interest lies based on your short term and long term goals.

    Hi dude,

    CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.

    To become a CID officer you need satisfy the eligiblity criteris set by them:-

    To become a CID officer you nned to appear for CGPE exam.

    CGPE stands Combined Graduate preliminary Exam.

    CGPE exam is conducted by SSC.

    To apply for CID exam you need to be a GRADUATE from a recognized university.

    Your age need to be between 20 to 27 years .

    Age relaxation is only for SC/ST/OBC.

    Attempts are limited for General and OBC where are unlimited for SC/ST.

    For General there are 5 attempts and for OBC there are 7 attempts.

    You need to citizen of INDIA.

    To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

    Those candidate have completed graduation from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.(Criminology)

    But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Also you have citizenship of India.

    Inorder to become a CID officer,there are two ways.one is direct entry i.e. there is a UPSC exam known as SHORT SERVICE COMMISION(SSC).it is a written exam.if we get qualified in the written exam we will be called for the next stage of selection.This stage consists of pshycological,physical tests and personal interview.this is one way to become a cid officer.the other way is by joining in police department as a sub inspector and becoming a cid officer.ALL THE BEST

    there are many posts available for the CID officer...there level of determined by their qualification 1.The minimum qualification for Constable is Completed his 12th standard in the recognized university..
    2.to become a sub inspector you complete your Graduation After completing your 12th standard.
    3.And the Graduation is required for office level post.

    4.There are many Universities for the course CRIMINOLOGY

    5.The qualification for the joining in CRIMINOLOGY the candidate complete his/her 10+2 in the Science (or)Arts stream

    6.Who has Background in LAW specializations are available in Criminology...

    HI friend,
    firstly i need to make clear that CID comes under state government and not under the central government. Henceforth it is necessary to know which state you are from.
    examinations are conducted by public service commission of the concerned state. usually the exams are conducted during may-june for the post of CID sub-inspector post.

    Criminal Investigation Department(CID)

    The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) is a crime detection agency under the Government of India.

    CID Officer job post you have to write the entrance exam which has been conducted by upsc departments.

    The candidate should be citizen of india.

    Any graduate in any discipline from any recognized university can give the CID entrance exam.
    Age should be between 20-27 years.

    Selection procedure includes written exam followed by personal interview.
