    No you cannot become an Air force pilot after completing the 10th class. The minimum eligibility criterion for becoming a pilot is a 12th class. You can attend the NDA exam which is conducted by the UPSC. The minimum eligibility for attending the NDA exam is a 12th class with science as the major subject. You need not be above 191/2 years. You should have scored at least 60 % of marks in the 12th class level. You can also opt for the flying branch after graduation also. You will need to qualify in the CDS exam.

    HI

    No..with 10th background you can't become a pilot....The minimum eligibility for to enter into the Air fore is you have to complete your 10+2 from any recognized university.

    The minimum eligibility criteria for to join the Army,Navy,Air force is you have to complete your 12th standard..

    Without 12th it is not possible to join the Indian Army,Navy,And air force..

    One can join in any one of the 3 wings you must completed your 12th standard.

    Through NDA exam you can enter into the one of the 3 wings.namely

    • Air force
    • Indian Navy
    • Army..
    NDA stands for National defense Academy.UPSc will hold the NDA exam twice a year.i.e NDA I and NDA II.After clearing the NDA exam you can enter into the one of the defense services..

    Eligibility for NDA:

    You must be citizen from India
    You have to complete your 12th standard from any recognized board.
    Your age should not more than 19 years and not less than 16.5 years..
    If you are interested in Indian Navy should have the Mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject..


    So you are a 10th passed candidate.First you have to completed your 12th..then you can join in the NDA..

    NO it is not possible for you right at this age and with your qualification to join in Indian Air Force as a pilot to fly Super Sonic Jets and many more.

    In order to become a Pilot you have to complete your 12th standard so that you can sit in Indian Air Force exam, NDA ( National Defense Academy ) is the main wing of the Indian Defense services that conduct the exam and recruits the young Indian's into different cadre's like

    1. Indian Army
    2. Indian Air Force
    3. Indian Navy

    Indian Air Force is the Flying wing of the Indian Defense that in order to become a Pilot you must have to appear UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) NDA exam conducted every year twice. You must have to meet certain eligibility requirements to appear for the NDA exam.

    Eligibility :

    Education qualification :

    you must have completed 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as your main subjects with minimum 60% marks from any recognized college.

    Age criteria :

    you must have minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years of age.

    Nationality :

    your origin must be Indian, Nepal, Bhutan or Tibetan refugee.

    Dude after qualifying the written exam you are going to have Group discussion and Personal Interview after which you are taken in and have to start your training.

    The duration of the course is 4 years which consists of first 3 years Degree classes and 1 year ground Training where you will be sent to respective ground for training as you mentioned in application form. Indian Air Force training ground is at HYDERABAD.

    so dude i say you that first you complete your +2 study after that you will join in Indian Air Force as the competition is very high you must be good at your studies and prepare for the exam well you also develop your Physical Fitness.

    Its great opportunity to you to serve for your own country,if you have the caliber you must join the Indian Air-force.

    As you have already completed your graduation level,then you can apply for then you can get chance to take admission in Indian Airforce.

    There are some selection procedure such as:

    Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i)19 to 23 years
    ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.
    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:
    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:
    You have to be Indian

    Gender:
    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications

    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    or
    You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

    2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

    Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

    You cannot become an AIR FORCE PILOT after completing the 10th class because the minimum educational qualification needed for the Selection through NDA as AIR FORCE PILOT is 12th standard so you should first complete the 12th standard and then apply for the NDA Exam to be selected as an INDIAN AIR FORCE PILOT.

    To be eligible for the NDA exam there are certain educational criteria and Age criteria and that is:

    1)You should be a citizen of INDIA.

    2)You should have done your 12th class from a recognized board.

    3)A student appearing for the 12th class exams is also eligible to appear for the exams.

    4)Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

    5)You should be physically fit.

    you want to become Air Force Pilot. yes you can but you have to apply NDA examination. it connected by Union Public Service Commission.
    The Online Applications can be filled upto 30th January 2012 till 11.59 PM
    after which the link will be disabled.
    Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong
    answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.


    Qualification is :--
    you should have completed 12th with physics, chemistry and maths with atleast 60%.
    Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :

    If You want to become as a Pilot then you have to be completed Engineering Course,Then only you will be having chance to get that position.For This First You have to qualify in Combined Defense Service Examination.If You qualify in this test then you will be having chance to get opportunities as a pilot.


    Eligibility Criteria for Combined Defense Service Examination;


    >>You must be completed Degree with Mathematics and Physics or Engineering graduation from recognized university with any stream.

    >>Your age should be between 19 to 22 years.This exam will be conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

    >>You can get pilot position by qualify in Flying Pilot Entrance examination,for this test then should be completed your B.Tech/B.E with at least 60% of marks from recognized university.

    >>Your age should be between 19 years to 23 years.

    >>Unmarried Male and Female candidates are also eligible to apply for thsi examination.


    So try to qualify in this examination then you can become as a pilot.

    Dear friend.


    National Defence Academy Exam is a national Level exam conducted by the Unioun Public Service Commission every year twice a year.

    The eligibility:
    >>The candidate must be an Indian national
    >>The candidate must be a male unmarried candidate and that cannot marry in between the training.
    >>The candidate must be 16.5 to 19 years of age
    >>The candidate must be a 12th passed candidate in any stream if you want to join the army wing.
    But for the air force and the naval wing of the Indian defence services through the NDA you have to get science stream with physics and maths as one of the main subjects.
    >>You have to get a minimum of 60%in 12th to be eligible for the exam.

    Syllabus of NDA examination :-
    The exam consist of the following sections:
    1)Mathematics - 300 marks.
    2)General ability - 600 marks

    So after 10th you need to enter in to science stream with physics and maths as one of the main subjects to get in to the Indian defence sector with air force specialisation

    The tentative dates:

    Date of notification:31st December 2011
    Date of last submission: 23rd January 2012
    Exam: 15th April 2012

    how to be a commercial pilot with permission to work for private airlines in india or overseas? There are many pilot training school and I suspect some of them can be only commercial and expensive rather than reputed and good one.
