    How can I apply for flying officer post in Airforce? My D.O.B is 17-01-1994. I am a 12th passed student.

    Hii l can apply airforce 4 post flying officers nd my d.o.b 17.01.1994 nd my edu twelfth plz rply

    Dear Friend,

    To apply for flying officer post in Airforce the candidate must having degree of engineering and have at least 60% without any back left are eligible to appear for the flying branch in Indian Air force.

    Procedures and Eligibility

    1{a}Candidates are selected through CDSE(central defense service exam) having graduate degree are eligible for the flying branch.
    or {b}Candidates studying in the final year of engineering or having degree of engineering are eligible to appear for the flying branch in Indian Air force.

    2.Age---->-The age limit for this entry is between 19 and 23 years.
    3.Gender----->This entry mode is applicable for men only.
    4.Advertisement Schedule:----->April and September Every Year

    [Note:-There will be medical test thereafter]

    Your date of Birth is 17-01-1994 means your age now above 18 years so you are not applicable for Next Indian Air force exam which is conducted by NDA.

    Because in this time your age should be over 19 years old.

    NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

    The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.


    The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.


    Selection procedure for NDA exam:-

    • Written test
    • Interview
    • Medical

    NDA is the national defence academy.
    NDA having three branch.
    1)Army
    2)NAVAL
    3)AIRFORCE

    ELIGIBILITY
    *you must be unmarried male
    *Age Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam
    Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.
    now your BOD is 17.1.1994 .so you are Eligible for apply for NDA according to age eligibility

    *Education eligibility
    now you aspire to join the Air Force,then you must have a pass in class 12 in science compulsory.

    If you satisfy the above all NDA eligibility ,then you can apply for NDA airforce wing.

    after graduation: flying branch/ flying pilot
    eligibility: unmarried indian citizen(men and women)
    age limit: 19 to 23yrs
    education: maths and physics at 10+2 is a must.. any graduate is elligible
    selection process:
    1. through CDSE exam after graduation or
    2. NCC entry( only men with C certificate) or
    3. SSC entry

    after passing any of these rounds, candidates must appear for PABT( pilot aptitude Battery test) this has 2 stages.

    will be notified in all leading newspaper

    Mainly there are two modes of entry to join in Indian Air Force as a Flying officer for Fighter pilot, Helicopter pilot, or Transport pilot based on your educational qualification

    1. As Graduate
    2. NDA (National Defense Academy)


    Friend as you said, you had completed 12th standard then you can join in NDA to be an Air Force cadet, NDA recruits the young and courageous cadets to different cadre's in Indian Defense Services

    Indian Army
    Indian Navy
    Indian Air Force


    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the all Indian common written exam for the aspirants who wanted to join in NDA every year twice and you can attempt any of the time.

    To be eligible for the UPSC NDA exam, you must satisfy following criteria so that you can step in easily

    Education:

    Indian Air Force: you must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as your main subjects from any recognized board in India with minimum pass percentage

    Age:

    you must have minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years, that is your must be born not earlier than 1st Jan and not later than 1st July of the respective notification year.

    besides these main, you will be also having Physical standards and Medical examination after qualifying in the written exam, and there will be group discussions and final interview to be placed.

    The duration of the training at Indian Air Force Academy - Hyderabad, is 4 years including the Degree and Ground training where after which you will be placed in the respective grounds to start your career.

    Online
    : from the following site you can fill the application www.upsconline.nic.in

    Offline: you can get the application form from all head post offices, fill it and send to the respective address given.
