    Hi..

CA course is conducted by ICAI.

If you want to join this course, you will have to register yourself with ICAI.

CA course is divided into three parts:-

    1.CPT.

    2.IPCC.

It is also divided in two groups.

    Group 1 and Group 2.

You can give both the groups at one attempt or you can give seperately.

After passing Group 1,you are required to undergo training of 3 and half years under a registeres CA.

    3.Finals.

You can give CPT after 12th exam.

However,if you have done graduation, you can directly join IPCC stage.

There is no need to give CPT exam.

For any more details, you can visit the official website of ICAI.

    The official website is www.icai.org.in.

If you have any query, you can leave your message here.

    Thanks.

Re: How can a B.Com graduate apply for IPCC directly exempting CPT exam?

    hi there,
There is no such provision of enrolling in to IPCC after Bcom directly.
One needs to clear CPT in order to enroll in IPCC examination.
So get yourself registered for the CPT exam if you really aspire to become CA. CPT exams are being conducted in the months of June and December...

    All the best

Re: How can a B.Com graduate apply for IPCC directly exempting CPT exam?

A B.Com graduate can attend IPCC directly without CPT. CPT is the entry test to get admission for CA course. This should be attended by 12th class candidates as part of registration for CA course. IPCC is the next level which can be attended by only those who have qualified CPT. But new rule in CA suggests that graduates can attempt IPCC directly even though they have not qualified CPT. They are exempted from CPT. On clearing IPCC article ship training for 3 years is the next step. The final CA course can be attended after completing both IPCC and article ship training.
