    How to calculate the load factor of an Aircraft which is moving at constant speeds?

    an aircraft is climbing at a constant speed in a straight lline at an angle of climb,the load factor it sustains during its climb is?

    Load factor is defined as the ratio of the lift of an aircraft to its weight .



    where:
    n = Load factor
    L = Lift
    W = Weight

    The load factor is strictly non-dimensional.

    Load factor for...

    For commercial transport airplanes, from -1 to +2.5 (or up to +3.8 depending on design takeoff weight)
    For light airplanes, from -1.5 to +3.8
    For aerobatic airplanes, from -3 to +6
    For helicopters, from -1 to +3.5
