    How to Become a Scientist in ISRO?

    Iím currently in 11th standard. I have a burning desire to become a Scientist. Please do guide me. My favourite subject is Physics. Please tell me about the Entrance Exams conducted by ISRO after 10+2, the course and if any special preparation required, the date and time of exam and also the eligibility criteria.

    Please help me so that I can prepare right from now.

    To become a scientist it is important that you have a passion for research. Also it is a must that you be sound at the conceptual level. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) were set up with the purpose of training the candidates to become future scientists and specialists in the field. IIRS offers courses like MSc, M.Tech and PH.d. IIST offers courses in graduation, post graduation and also PH.d course. On completion of the 12th standard you can choose between Aerospace, Avionics and Physical Science. You will need to appear for the ISAT entrance exam which is held in April. The test will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and also Mathematics. They will be objective in nature. You need to be well prepared to clear these exams. You must solve the previous year papers too.

    ISRO is one of the most reputed institutions in India which is known all over the world. as to become eligible to pursue a career as a Scientist, one needs to have a passion for research and must have good understanding of various concepts. The ISRO has set up to institutions as to train future scientist and specialists. IIST and IIRS are the training institution. The IIRS offer various masters courses like M.Sc, M.Tech and PhD were as IIST offer Undergraduate courses and post graduate courses along with Ph.D. After 12th, the candidateís wishes to join the ISRO can opt to do a course from any of the specifications offered by these institutions. For this candidates will have to appear and get qualified in the ISAT entrance exam. This exam will be held during the month of April every year. Candidates have to prepare in the PCM subjects.

    Every year ISRO recuirt the engineering of electronics, mechanical and computer science for junior associate scientist post. So u can watch their wab site career option. u will get it

    To become a scientist you need to be graduate in any discipline and there are exams conducted by these institutions ,so you will have to clear these exam and if qualify you will have to face the interview by the scientists.Depending upon your performance you will be selected.You also try after completing your BE/BTech degree,or completing M TECH or P.hD degree ,generally they recruit BE/Btech students from various streams like Electronics ,Electrical etc.

    To become a scientist you need to be graduate in any discipline and there are exams conducted by these institutions ,so you will have to clear these exam and if qualify you will have to face the interview by the scientists.Depending upon your performance you will be selected.You also try after completing your BE/BTech degree,or completing M TECH or P.hD degree ,generally they recruit BE/Btech students from various streams like Electronics ,Electrical etc.

    i appreciate the eagerness in you and you are great to study sth many dont

    you should really prep hard for the ISAT exam conducted by ISAT
    not that exam alone is tough,
    the competition is incredibly high.

    there are abt 1 lac aspirants for 150 seats
    so you should really prepare hard

    once you are graduate from isat,
    there is a bond that states that you work in ISRO for 5 years
    on exceling,
    you are an ISRO scientist

    It is very appreciating that you want to Become a Scientist in ISRO.IIRS offers courses like MSc, M.Tech and PH.d. IIST offers courses in graduation, post graduation and also PH.d course.for this you need to be graduate in any discipline and You need to be well prepared to clear these exams.     ISRO offers the job profile junior scientist / engineer ,

    Eligibility : The candidates should be a holder of undergraduate in any of BE CSE , BE ECE , BE MECH only
    The candidate should have scored the minimum graduation percentage of 60%
    The candidate in the final year of these streams can also apply for the job
    The candidate should be an Indian

    Hi friend

    ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organisation.

    In order to join ISRO first of all you should have a graduation degree or take up graduation in the field of engineering , mathematics, physical science. Graduation should be from a recognized university.
    You can also give entrance exam conducted by ISRO after 10+2.
    Entrance exams are conducted by IIT, Or PSU exams conducted and score good marks in that and try to get placed in ISRO.

    ISRO is the indian space research organization engage with space science and technology.

    Eligibility:
    B.E/B.tech holder havin first classs aggregate.
    Age:
    35 years for open category.3 year relaxation for OBC and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST.

    you have to apply online registration in january or febuary march.then print out of this application form.and make a DD(demand draft) of specifield rupees.then application form and DD together send to zone of adress

    Eligibility :you should have undergraduate in any of BE CSE , BE ECE , BE MECH only

    Getting into ISRO is not an Easy Task when compared to other fields in the field of Research Centers .

    The Eligibility Criteria for getting into ISRO is :-

    You must be a Graduation in any field from the Recognized University .
    Your aggregate up to Graduation Must be min of 65%.
    Your Graduation must include Physics, Mathematics and Computer related subjects .

    You need to appear for the ISAT entrance exam which is held in April.

    Hi Friend,

    The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has declared the dates for ISAT 2012 (IIST admission test).

    The online registration for the exam has started from 1 November and will end on 31 December 2011 at 11:30 p.m.
    It will be held on 21 April 2012.

    as you are on 11th class apply for the Exam Next year , and Be Prepare for it .


    ISAT is conducted every year for admission in the undergraduate course i.e. B.Tech of IIST.

    The exam is totally objective type in nature with questions from Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

    Candidate belongs to general and OBC must have 70% marks in the qualifying exam Candidate belongs to SC/ST/PD need to have 60%. marks in the qualifying exam .
    For the General and OBC candidates the maximum age limit is 24 years and 29 years for SC/ST/PD candidates.
    Attempts
    A student can appear for only two times in consecutive years.

    how much higher you studied will helps you to reah your goal..because your goal is much high..

    here the way to reach yourr goal pls look into this

    educational qualification:

    -B.E/B.Tech

    -M.E/M.tech

    -PH.D
    (PH.D in physics helps you to reach your goal easily)

    P.hd (Astro physics).
    P.hd (Geophysics).
    P.hd (Metaphysics)

    Better to pursue these degrees from IIST (http://www.iist.ac.in).IIST conducts

    Admission to its specialized courses which leads in space tecnhnology. For

    entering into IIST you have to crack ISAT or IITJEE after that you will be provided

    Admission into B.tech if you have good performance in B.tech then you would

    also offered M.tech or P.hd. all study there is free of cost, after acquiring degree

    from there you will be absorb as an Scientist of ISRO.

    ISRO is The Indian space research organization
    You want to become scientist from ISRO. You are not eligible for ISRO exam. Minimum degree is Graduate in B.E/B.tech with first class aggregate.
    You have minimum 60% in your Graduation.
    Age limit is : 35 years for open category.
    And 3 year relaxation for OBC and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST.

The entrance exam for ISRO is conducted by IIT. So you need to work hard secure a good score in graduation and prepare well for the entrance exam.also after completing your graduation you can go for PSU exams conducted by them and score good marks in that and try to get placed in ISRO.

    Hi dude,

    Its very happy that you want to become a scientist in such a good place ISRO.

    But after 12th its not possible to write the entrance exam of ISRO, you need to complete your Graduation in Engineering .

    ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organisation .

    You can join in ISRO after completing your Engineering.

    You need to apply for the exam conducted by ISRO.

    If you are qualified in GATE exam then you are have more chance to get in to ISRO.

    To get in to ISRO you need to complete your B.tech from a reconized university.

    Your graduation marks need to be above 60 %.

    Your age need to be below 35 years.

    For OBC category age limit is 38 years and for SC/ST it is 40 years.

    INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION

    ISRO is a Research and Development Organisation of Space Science and Technology.

    To join ISRO, you should complete your Bachelor degree in Engineering with 65% marks.
    Your minimum age should be 22 years and in Upper age category wise relaxation is there.

    General candidate can apply upto 35 years,OBC can apply upto 38 years and SC/ST can apply upto 40 years.

    Exam held in 2 terms-- Written exam + Interview.
