Electronics and Communication engineering is a semi core branch of engineering. So, you have the chance to get job in ISRO after completing B.Tech. You can work as a scientist in Indian Space Research Organisation. The other way to become scientist is to Complete your post graduation (M.Sc or M.Tech) after B.tech and then proceed P.Hd which will make you enable to work as a scientist in various research organisations.

How to get job in ISRO

ELIGIBILITY-

1- You must have completed your B.Tech degree with Electronics/Electrical/Computer science/Mechanical stream.
2- You must have minimum 60% through out your academic career.
3- You must be Indian.
4- Your age must be below 35 years.

First you have to appear in a written exam conducted by ISRO . Selected candidates have to go for interview. Those who selected in Interview get job in ISRO for different posts.

as you want to became a scientist then i want to tell you that for this you have to study a lot for becomming a scientist as after doing B.tech you have to appear for GATE exam for doing M.TECH . and M.TECH is of two years , after this you have to apply for P.HD and do this from reputed college/university of the country (best if you do it from IIT),

after P.hd , if you want to go for further research then you apply for scientist post in any indian organisation , or some foreign organisation , and became a scientist....
