This is the perfect time to select the stream. It should be in the field that you are most comfortable in. To go in to the research field first of all complete your 12th standard. Since you are interested in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you must select these areas. Thereafter you can choose between engineering, B.Sc, BCA. It depends which of these areas interests you. After that pursue your Masters degree. You will then be eligible for the NET+JRF. On clearing this you are eligible for the research field. You can begin working right after graduation. You can pursue the Master and the NET exam along with the job. Also you have another option of taking up a PH.d.

This is the best time to decide your career. As you are a matriculate, you can pursue the +2 course in Science streams. Then only you may be able to do the graduation course in Science subjects. Earn a Bachelors’ degree in Astrophysics, space science or related fields. On successful completion of the graduate course, you can opt for Masters’ in space science, Astronomy or concerned areas. However, study the program in a certified University. On completion of the same, you can attend the NET + JRF exam, which is a pre-requisite criterion to become a researcher. While working as a researcher, you can study the PhD program in the relevant fields, which may help you to improve your career.

you want to be a scientist then you have to study alot as well as you also have a good practical hand.
You have to do phd , for this you have to qualify a exam known as junior research fellowship. after qualifying this you are allowed to get enrolled for phd and get a scholarship of 16000 rs per month with HRA.

    hii

    to become a Scientist
It all depends on what you want to do. Scientist is such a broad term in today's day and age. I would suggest you look at what you are most interested in and go from there.
If you love the stars, you can look at cosmology. If you are always asking, "how does this work and why?" then I would recommend you look into physics.
So many things to do and I have only listed a couple.
    Hope this helps you some.

    good luck
