    First of all you have not specified your educational qualification as well as your age ,so that we can give you clear results on this topic.
    But however we are giving the necessary details for becoming the flying officer.

    In order to become flying officer the basic and important things is that the candidates must belongs from the science stream.

    There subjects combination should be physics,chemistry and maths.

    If you are from science background and maths as a necessary subjects you have studied then it can only be possible for you to become a flying officer.

    You will get two chances in your life in order to become a flying officer.
    1 after completing your class 12 exam.
    2 after completing your graduation from science stream.

    On class 12 you will have to appear in NDA exam conducted by UPSC every year.

    The necessary details for it is as follows:-
    you must have secured 60% minimum in physics,chemistry and maths in 10+2 level.
    you must have secured 50% marks in English in class 10 as well as in class 12.
    The candidates minimum age should be between 16 to 19 years.

    Second after completing your graduation in science stream and maths as a necessary paper.

    This exam is known as CDS exam conduced by UPSC.
    The marks and percentage requirement is same as in the case of NDA.
    The difference is in age.
    The minimum age requirement is 18 and upper age limit is 21 years.

    However age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per government norms.

    Flying officer is the officer rank given to a cadet after training in the Air force academy.

    To become a flying officer there are two main choices

    NDA entry: Age : 16.5 to 19 (plus two )
    CDSE entry Age: 20 to 24 years (graduate)

    For both entries there will be a written test and SSB interview

    Both men and women can apply for the post of flying officer.
    ELIGIBILITY :
    • AGE : 19 TO 23 YEARS
    • MARITAL STATUS : SINGLE
    • NATIONALITY : INDIAN
    • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
    • Any graduate degree with minimum of 60% in aggregate
    ENTRANCE EXAM :
    • CDSE : The advertisement for CDSE is released twise an year in the months of june and october by upsc
    SSB :
    STAGE-I :
    • OFFICER'S INTELLIGENCE RATING TEST
    • PICTURE PERCEPTION AND DISCUSSION TEST
    • IF YOU QUALIFY STAGE-I THEN YOU MAY PROCEED TO STAGE-II
    STAGE-II :
    • PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS ARE WRITTEN TESTS CONDUCTED BY PSYCHOLOGISTS
    • GROUP TESTS ARE COMBINED OUTDOOR AND INDOOR ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE COMBINATION OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WORK
    • INTERVIEW INVOLVES A PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH THE INTERVIEWING OFFICER.

    Steps to become flying or Air force officer

    1- You can become flying officer in Indian air force through NDA exam after 12th.
    2- You can join Indian Air force also through CDSE(central defense service exam) exam after graduation.

    Basic qualification to become flying officer:

    One can join as flying officer in Indian Air Force after Intermediate (10+2) by joing NDA through
    UPSC Exam or attaining graduation through CDSE or Air Wing Senior division 'C' Certificate holder of NCC under permanent commission (Men only) and under Short Service Commission after graduation(Men and Women) .

    After Intermediate (10+2):

    Join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
    Eligibility Criteria:
    To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements:
    Age : 16 to 19 years(At the time of commencement of training)
    Nationality: Indian (Men only)
    Educational Qualifications: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.


    As a graduate or BE / B Tech. degree holder:


    Join by taking the Combined Defence Services Examination (written test conducted by UPSC).
    Eligibility Criteria:
    Age : 19 to 23 years(At the time of commencement of training)
    Marital Status: Single
    Nationality: Indian (Men only)
    Educational Qualifications:
    Any Graduate ( Three Year Course )/ BE / B Tech( Four Year Course) with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. No Percentage Bar for CDSE entry.


    National Cadet Corps Special Entry ( Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC ):

    As a Air Wing Senior division 'C' Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps
    Eligibility criteria:
    Age : 19 to 23 years(At the time of commencement of training)
    Marital Status : Single
    Nationality :Indian (Men only)
    Educational Qualifications : Any Graduate Degree ( Three year Course)/ BE / B Tech ( Four Year Course) with minimum 60 % marks in Aggregate in all papers put together in Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate.


    Service Commission (For Flying (Pilot) Short Men & women):

    Both men and women are eligible to apply for short service commission in the flying branch. Short Service Commission in Flying branch is for 14 years with no further extension.
    Eligibility criteria:
    Age: 19 to 23 years (At the time of commencement of training)
    Marital Status: Single
    Nationality: Indian (both men and women)
    Educational Qualifications:
    Any Graduate Degree ( Three year Course)/ BE / B Tech ( Four Year Course) with minimum 60 % marks in Aggregate in all papers put together in Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    In my 2 exam I had got 69 for chemistry,70 for physics & 43 for maths
    If I have the eligibility to become a flying officer ,sir.
