there are various criteria for CBI officer:
1.You should have graduation degree from a registered university
2.Your eye site must be 6/6 on one side or 6/9 on another side
3.you must be medically fit means your height criteria is:
For men-about 165 cms
Fof women-about 155 cms
4.After all these you have a interview

Dear aspirant,

The minimum academic qualification one should possess in order to become a member of the Central Bureau of Investigation is a bachelors degree.

The selection procedure is carried out by Staff Selection Commission.

The selection test conducted by the commission is known as the Combined Graduate Level Examination and in addition to being a graduate, you must be within the age limit of 20-25 years to be considered eligible for the exam.

Once you qualify all the stages, i.e, written examination and interview,

you will be appointed as an Sub-Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation .

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology)

Age criteria :-

(i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI –
Age between 20 - 27 years.
(ii) Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs –
Age between 18 - 27 years.
(iii) Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces –
Age between 20 and 25 years.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Exam pattern for CBI Exam:-

a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

i. General Test
ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning
iii. General Awareness
iv. Numerical Ability

b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

i. English Language
ii. Language Comprehension
iii. Communication / Writing
iv. Ability Test

A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities....
Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years...
