Re: How to become a CA after 10th?

You can apply for the CA course after completing the 10th class. If you are interested towards opting this course the registration for this course should be done soon after completing the 10th class. One needs to register for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after 10th class. You can attend the CPT exam only after completing the 12th class. If you get through this level, you can register for the PCC course. In order to appear in the second level of CA (PCC) a graduation degree is mandatory. An Article ship training of 3 years must be attended after completing PCC. The final level of CA course can be attended only after successfully completing the article ship training.

Re: How to become a CA after 10th?

    Hello Friend,

-->You cannot write CA entrance after 10th but can write after 12th.
-->Contact your nearest CA chapter for syllabus and exam dates.
-->After you complete your 12th standard you can write the entrance exam and on successful completion, you can start preparing yourself for the inter exam.
-->By the time you finish off your graduation, you have to write CPT test which is held every 4 months. After passing this test you can become a CA.

-->Along with CA, ICWAI and CS courses's entrances also can be written after 12th. I know a few people who did complete all the three along with their graduation and have become financial professionals.

    All the best..................

    • And very importantly, there is no restriction in regard to the age of the candidate.
    • All of you who are awaiting your 10+2 results can also apply.
    • To qualify as a Chartered Accountant, a 10+2 pass student from any stream has to clear the Professional Education Course I (PE-I) held in May and November every year.
    • However, a candidate can appear in the exam after 10 months from the date of registration.
    • He has also to satisfactorily comply with the other requirements of Board of Studies.
    • Prior to appearing in this exam, he has to get himself registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, in any of its five Regional Councils, viz.,

Actually the minimum qualification that is required in order to pursue Chartered Accountancy course is that the candidate
must have a higher secondary certificate. So, you can appear for the CPT(Common proficiency test) only if you have
completed your higher secondary from a recognized board. There are three stages in which you can complete this course.
This can be mentioned as follows:
    1)Common proficiency test
    2)IPCC(Integrated professional competence course)
    3)CA Final
But before appearing for the final exam , you have to complete three years of training under a chartered accountant
    who is working in India.

Re: How to become a CA after 10th?

    Dear Friend,

    C.A Stands for Chartered Accountancy

The chartered accountancy course in India has duration of 2 years. It has 3 exams:-

    * Entry level Test: Competency Professional Test (CPT)

    * First Stage of theoretical education: Professional Competence Course

    * Final stage of theoretical education: Final course

A student can enrol for CPT after passing 10th grade only. But he can appear in the examination after successfully completing his 12th standard studies. The CPT is the entry level test. The questionnaire is in objective type format and the whole examination is of 4 hours duration divisible into two parts of 2 hours each.

After clearing the CPT, the student can get admission to the Professional competence course. The student undergoes a practical training period and works under professionals of the industry. The student has to undergo 100 hours of information technology training after completing the articled training.

After clearing the second level, the student has to register with the Board of Studies for final course. General management and communication skills are also developed during this tenure.

After clearing the final course examination, the students are eligible to enrol with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to work as chartered accountants.

    thank you

Thumbs up Re: How to become a CA after 10th?

    Hello dear friend....

After 10th you cant do CA because CA need the minimum 12th to appear the exam

So first complete the 12th with minimum 55% for commerce and 60% for non commerce

After the 12th you can do CA exam

    CA has four levels like.....

    CPT

    IPCC

    Article ship training

    Final

    CPT : Common Proficiency Test

Its nothing but entrance exam of CA once you clear / qualify the CPT

then you can go for next level that is

IPCC : Integrated Proficiency Compitancy Course

It is second level of CA and it has Two groups like Group-I Group-II

you can attempt both the exam or one by one after the completing the next level is

Article Ship Training under gazetted CA officer

lastly the Final exams of CA

it is the one of best and tough course so you have to do hard work

    or go coaching classes

    Do well

    All the Best!!!

Re: How to become a CA after 10th?

YOU can apply for CA only after 10+2 level

1st complete your 12th standard to be eligible for CA exams.

To become CA you have to clear 3 parts as lisited:
    1. CPT
    2. IPCC
    3. final exam

to become CA you have to clear all parts of CA exam.

    1st part is CPT exam
    2nd part is IPCC exam
    and
    then final exams.

    for all this
THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR CA ARE AS:

    # candidate must have graduate degree in commerce with 55% marks
    # science stream student can also apply with 60% marks in (10+2 level)

you can also appy to CA after graduate degree then you have aoption to give direct exam of IPCC
then CPT exam is not compulsory to give.

    good luck.
