    hello!
you have to appear for AFMC entrance exam after completing your 12th class studies. AFMC is the only armed forces medical college where Army doctors are made in our country.

only unmarried male and female candidates below the age of 22 years are allowed as eligible for admission into this college only if they qualify the above mentioned entrance exam. the cut off percentage is very high about 90%.

seats available are 105 for boys and only 25 seats for girls.

    all the best.

The most common way to become, dental or the army medical corps is to become a member of the health professional scholarships program, where the army pays for all costs of any accredited medical, dental or veterinary school ,you will enter active duty in your specialty and advance to the rank of captain.
    1. Serve 1 month a year in the Army Residency Program rotating as a Second Lieutenant in a military hospital.

    2. Attend the Officers Basic Training Course after the first year of medical school.

    3. Wait to hear back from the Army recruiter regarding your acceptance into the Program. This process can take anywhere from 2 to 9 months.

There is a college in Puna named AFMC(Army Forces Medical College), which admits 130 students to its MBBS course. There is a great competition to take admission in that college. The course is quite tough but the career is assured.
