Re: How to become an Aeronautical engineer after completing 10th?

To be an aeronautical engineer one should have a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) or at least a diploma in Aeronautics. The degree and postgraduate degree courses are offered by the engineering colleges and Institutes of Technology (IITs), and the diploma courses are available at polytechnics.

The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B.Tech is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate. One must also pass the qualifying exam JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) conducted by the IIT's.
    All the best

    Hi,

You cannot do any degree course as soon as you complete 10th.
You have to complete 10+2 with PCM [Physics, Chemistry, Maths] as subjects. Only then you can take up with engineering.
After 12th write entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT, EAMCET, VIT etc and join a good university or college.
After completing engineering you will be given a bachelor degree.

So now you concentrate on 11th and 12th exams and pass out with good percentage to relish your dream.
    May your dream come true.

    Good luck.!

    Hello friend,
if you want to be an aeronautical engineer then you have a two options after completion of your 10th class...either you can directly enter into diploma in aeronautical course after your 10th class and then you can enter into degree course by lateral entry in 2nd year of degree course...
the other way is, you should complete your 10+2...in your +2 class you should choose science stream with PCM(PHYSICS,MATHS,CHEMISTRY)...so you can enter in b.tech/BE aeronautical degree course and so become an aeronautical engineer...

    all the best.

    Hello,
Aeronautitical engineering is a graduation programme and you can't do graduation without 12th.
Aeronautical engineering is that branch of engineering in which we study about aeroplanes and related things of aeroplanes.
You should complite your 12th with god percentage.
After 12th exam you have to fulfill some forms for entrence exam.
    Some entrence exam are following:-
    IIT
    WBJEE
    BIT
    VIT
    COMEDK
    AMU
    JAMIA
    IP UNIVERSITY etc.
After qualifying these exams you are eligible to do engineering.
After doing engineering you can earn money in laks.
    You can also join defence.

    Hi,
After 10th opt for Science Stream in your PU or 11th with any of the combinations like :
    >PCMB
    >PCMC
    >PCME
After completing your 12th or PU take up any of the Engineering Entrance Exams like AIEEE,
IIT-JEE etc and then once your ranking is announced opt Aeronautical as your branch in Engineering .
    All the Best

Aerospace engineers design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. In addition, they test prototypes to make sure that they function according to design.

To become an aeronautical engineer, you'll need to be prepared to complete several years of college, which may at times become competitive.
As new technology is developed, the work of an aeronautical engineer is constantly changing. This is certainly a challenging role.

In high school, you'll need to get good grades, especially in Maths and science. Courses in physics, algebra, and calculus will be particularly helpful.

Following are some entrance exam you will need to crack.
    IIT- JEE
    WBJEE
    AIEEE

    Thanks..
