Re: How to become Aeronautical Engineer?

You can take up a diploma course in electrical and electronics after your 10th which is a 3 year course. Later on join a B.E or B.Tech course in Aeronautical Engineering through lateral. But, I would strongly recommend you to take up +2 if your aim is to become an Aeronautical Engineer. Either way you will have to do a B.E. or B.Tech Course in Aeronautical Engineering in order to become an Aeronautical Engineer. There for doing a +2 will be a better option than a Diploma. Before joining any college for a bachelor’s degree you will also have to clear an Entrance exam like JEE, AIEEE etc. There are other entrance exams also which are carried out by other institution for admission purpose. For appearing in the entrance exam also candidates will have to pass +2 or its equivalent.

Re: How to become Aeronautical Engineer?

If you wish to become an Aeronautical Engineer without studying 12th class, you may have to pursue Diploma program after completion of your 10th class. Once you complete the diploma program, you can seek for engineering admissions in engineering colleges. There you can pursue the BE or B Tech program in Aeronautical Engineering. However, you have to clear the Lateral entry examination for getting engineering admissions. Better, pursue the +2 course, which may help you to gain basic awareness in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. It may really help you in your Engineering studies. After that, you can study Aeronautical Engineering in a recognized institute. For this, you have to attend the AIEEE or State level engineering entrance tests.

After 10th direct you can join diploma course in aeronaut engineering...then you have to get minimum 60% to easily get admission in B.E. degree course...choose specialization in degree course and then you can do post graduation....

Re: How to become Aeronautical Engineer?

You can become aeronautical engineer after 12th exam ,
but you have no chance to do Aeronautical engineering after 10th board.
If you want to become Aeronautical Engineer From Good Engineering College, then you must have to apply for IIT JEE
AIEEE and you should get good Rank in these examination.

as you are asking for direct aeronautical engg. it is possible .but it will be better to clear your 12th first.
but you want it on 10th so , you may have to pursue Diploma program after completion of your 10th class. Re: How to become Aeronautical Engineer?

For pursuing Aeronautical Engineering as a graduate degree course, you have two options you can opt from, after 10th standard. First is, complete your Higher Secondary (10+2) in Physics, chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) stream with a minimum aggregate percentage of 60%. The other option you have is, you can get a diploma degree course after 10th standard in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a institute that is recognized by Government of India or AICTE. After that, you could apply for aeronautical engineering.
    all the best!!

So, you want to be a Aeronautical Engineer without going for 12th. Why did you want to do so is not understandable by me, when going through +2 is the best and easiest way and a better one.

Surely you would be successfully pursuing Aeronautica Engineering after Diploma Engineering but will have to suffer in future if wanted for further higher studies like M.Tech. For pursuing M.Tech from good Engineering Institute you have to go via GATE. And for GATE it is mandatory that B.Tech candidate must have passed having +2 scheme.
    Checkout Eligibility criteria HERE

However, even tough you wanted to opt for that. You can do so by having a 3 years long Diploma Engineering course in Mechanical Engineering. Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering option is also there but very few institute having that course. So better go via Mechanical Engineering. After that you can find Lateral Entry into B.Tech. But for a much better career prospect you will always be adviced to opt for M.Tech. Think nicely before taking any final decision.

For choosing AE as your career you have two options.First complete your 10+2 with science stream (PCM).After this you apply for B.tech courses in AE. For this you need to appear entrance exams like AIEEE.IITJEE,VITEE.If you score a high rank in this test you can secure a seat for yourself in a reputed colleges like IIT/NIT/VIT.The other option is by doing diploma instead of 10+2. This diploma degree is of 3 years duration. After completing the diploma you can go for B.tech course through lateral entry.

Re: How to become Aeronautical Engineer?

I think you should compleate your 10+2 first. As 10+2 is a mandatory qualification in various exams
and even companies require the candidate to have cleared 10+2.
Then you can for a degree in Aeronautical engineering from any institute which is approved by
    Director general of civil aviation(DGCA).
However if you want you can choose the other path also.
You can enroll in a diploma course after 10th. After compleating Diploma,
You can get admission directly in 2nd year of engineering course through lateral entry scheme.

Yes,you can become an Aeronautical Engineer without doing 12th.For this you will have to join a 3-year Diploma course in any Engineering stream.
To get admission in Diploma, you need to appear for the JET(Joint Entrance Test) of your state.JET test is conducted by every State board of Technical Education for Diploma admissions. On the basis of JET test you will get admission in Diploma. After completing your Diploma you can directly get admission to B.tech second year on the basis of Lateral entry examination. To appear in the Lateral entry test, you must have complete your Diploma with minimum 60% marks without any backlogs left in the course.Since you want to get admission in Aeronautical Engineering, then you need to score a high rank in the Lateral entry test as you want to get admission in the branch of your own interest. After completing your Aeronautical Engineering degree, you will be able to fulfill your dream of becoming an Aeronautical engineer.

    Best of luck for future.

If you want to be a aeronautical engineer after 10th then you should go dfor diploma.
You will have to appear for JET(Joint Entrance Test) to take admission in diploma
JET is on the basis of 10th
After passing the JET exam , you will get seat in some polytechnic college on the basis of your JET rank.

After passing the diploma you must have atleast 60% marks in diploma ,
and should not have any backlog pending, if there is any you need to clear it first

On the basis of diploma you will have to appear in the Lateral Entry Test(LEET) to take direct admission in B.Tech second year.
LEET is a state level exam and is on the basis of diploma.

    Best of luck
