    For applying for the M.Sc course you will need to first appear for the entrance exam. Each institute may conduct its own exam or take the All India score. Also for apply for this course each institute will have its own eligibility criteria like 60% in the qualifying exam, age criteria etc. You need to check these criteria with the institute where you plan to apply. You need to select the job profile based on your interest. This is important as it is a must for job satisfaction and also only then will you have the desire to reach heights in career. You can opt for teaching or the research field. For teaching field clearing the NET exam is a must and for research you need to clear NET+JRF exam. You also have the option to join laboratories, pharmaceuticals firms etc.

    some universities are taking entrance exam for it...and some gives admission on basis of merit list.....and after completion of M.Sc. you ll get job in food industries dairy productions and also in pharmaceutical companies.

    Msc Microbiology is new field in India and is growing at a higher rate ...If you are interested in this field then go for good college and apply to them like some of the good college include Mumbai university,Hydrabaad University,Trivendrum univetsity, Private institutions like IP university,Anna university,Amity university etc...

    After completing B.Sc Microbiology, you have to give entrance examination for the university for which you will apply. And the job opportunity is very good, so you can apply for the job.

    Hello friend,

    I have to say that its good option you are willing to pursue M.Sc after completing Microbiology.There are many universities and colleges in India which offer M.Sc and you have many specializations also in M.Sc

    Different specializations available in M.Sc are,you can opt for general biology,Microbiology,Biotechnology etc.


    Eligibility criteria for M.Sc

    1.To apply for all the above course you should have completed B.Sc or equivalent with subjects like Biology,Chemistry,Microbiology,Biotechnology,Botan y etc
    2.You should have completed the course at least with 50% aggregate
    3.You should get qualified in the entrance exam conducted by the respective colleges
