    You have not mentioned what is your educational background is. . You can apply for the IBPS bank exam through online. The information regarding the educational qualifications etc can be attained from the official website of IBPS. You need to be between 18-28 years. You need to attend the written examination which is conducted. If you get short listed in the written exam you will be called for the personal interview. You can refer the previous year question papers before attending the exam. Besides, this you can also refer competition refresher, R.S Agarwal books, GK publications etc where in you can get in various model papers of the exam.

    Exam contain 5 sections:
    1.Quantitative(refer R.S.Agarwall book)
    2.Reasoning section
    3.English section(read newspaper and learn 20 words with meaning)
    4.Basic computer knowledge
    5.general awernass(current affairs and relevant to banking industry)

    Hello Friend

    IBPS ( Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts the common written exam ( CWE ) to the entry into 19 Public sector banks for first time in India. It conducts the CWE for the posts of PO's / Management Trainee and Clerk cadre's , IBPS conducts this exam twice in a year.

    If you want to go for the IBPS exam you have to apply it through Online only. IBPS releases the notification for different cadre's in the official website www.ibps.in or you can get the notification in all leading News papers.

    You can pay the fee through Online or Offline mode. If you go with for Online mode you can use your debit / credit card's and pay the fee. If you go for Offline mode you have to download the NEFT / CBS challan form from IBPS site and pay the fee in any of the 19 banks given.

    After paying the fee , you have to upload your color photo and signature of required dimensions as said in the notification and then go for filling the application form. After successful filling application a user id , password is generated so that you can later open your application form and download it or you can also download hall ticket.

    Eligibility : for PO's

    Educational Qualification :

    you must be Degree holder with minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university.

    Age criteria :

    you must have your age between 20 - 30 years and relaxation is allowed for special category.

    for Clerk Cadre :

    Educational Qualification :

    you must have passed Matriculation / SSC / SSLC with minimum 60% marks from any recognized board.
    or
    you must have passed your 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks.
    or
    you must be a Degree holder.

    Age Criteria :

    you must have age between 18 - 28 years.

    About IBPS
    IBPS(institute of banking personnel selection) is a examination of 19 public sector banks
    the rank card of the same is valid for one year only with which you can appear the interviews for the banks.
    there are 2 examinations conducted by IBPS.
    1.clerical cadre
    2.probationary officer(P.O) cadre

    ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR P.O CADRE

    you must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks
    age limit:20 to 30

    ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERICAL CADRE

    10th pass or matriculation with a 60% a minimum
    or
    12th pass with a 50% minimum
    or
    any graduate from a recognized university or higher
    age limit:18 to 28

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) organises a
    Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of Management
    Trainees / Probationary officers for 19 Public sector Banks.
    The examination is conducted two times a year.The first examination
    has already been held and it's results also declared.

    You can expect the notification for the second exam any time in
    the comin months. Before the examination , the IBPS board will
    release a advertisement for the same on the leading newspapapers
    and it's websites. You are required to keep a track on the same.

    However you will be required to apply for this exam through online
    mode only. No other means of application is allowed by the IBPS.
    You can fill the online form on the IBPS link or website. The payment
    can be made through online or offline maode.

    In online mode you can make the payment through NEFT. In offline mode
    you can make the payment through branch of any of the 19 participating
    banks.

    The Common Written Examination (CWE) will test your proficiency level
    in these sections :-

    -Quantitative Aptitude
    -English Language
    -Reasoning
    -General Awareness
    -Computer Knowledge

    You need to prepare in the above sections well. You can find any good
    book in the market with model test papers to practise.
    For Quantitative Aptitude , you can refer Quantitative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwal .
    For Reasoning you can again refer A Modern Approach To Logical Reasoning by
    R.S.Agarwal. Don't try to refer too many books. Instead practise from these
    books only and practise more and more.

    Institute of Banking Personal Selection exam is a common written exam for the post clerks, MT, PO, and single window operators in all the 19 participating public sector banks through a single written exam. The exam has been proposed and conducted fron the 2011 and has been conducted quite peacefully all over the India.
    The exam is conducted by the Indian Banks Association.

    To be eligible for the exam:
    *you have to be an Indian national
    *you have to be 21 to 30 years of age. There is 3 to 5 years of age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates
    *you have to be a graduate in any stream of arts/science or commerce.There is no minimum percentage criteria and that is why even the just pass candidates can too apply for the exam.
    *you have to get equipped with well developed knowledge of the MS office and the internet.

    Exam pattern:
    The exam consist of two stages:
    *Objective test: It consist of the questions on general awareness, quantittative aptitude,logical reasoning and general english along with the computer knowledge. It is of 150 minutes duration with .25 -ve marking for each incorrect answer. The max, marks are 250.
    *Subjective exam: It is a written exam on essays, precise writing, letter and high level english. The max. marks are 250 and the time is 60 minutes.


    After that the qualifying candidates can collect their score cards which will be valid for one year and based on that score the candidate can apply in any bank of choice if he/she is qualifying the cut off released by that bank. After that the banks will carry on their respective selection procedures.

    The tentative dates for the exam are as follows:
    Date of notice:1st week july
    Deadline:1st week august
    Date of exam:2nd-3rd week september
